Dr Pletka is an excellent surgeon. I had a full rotator cuff tear from a wrong tennis service motion. Dr. Pletka’s surgery in May 2022 went flawless, followed all his instructions and only took Tylenol and naproxen for 3 days. Had no pain at all and used an ice bag on regular schedule. Healing went well, had four months of PT and was hitting easy groundstrokes after four months, matches at 6 month and at eight months, fully recovered no pain or limitations at all. Dr. Pletka being an experienced tennis player. , now at eight months, fully recovered no limitations at all. Dr. Pletka being an experienced tennis player and golfer had great advice along the way, very carefull, methodical. I highly recommend Dr Pletka to anyone with shoulder or arm issues.

Second time going to Dr. Pletka for my health issues very happy to have him as my doctor. Explain the procedure I need and recommend the best option.

Excellent communication thoroughly reviewed my mri and gave me best options for dealing with my injury! Very satisfied!!

If I could give him 1000 stars I would. He provided me with the best care possible. I didn’t feel rushed as he answered all of my questions and really put me at ease.

The doctor was very kind he explained everything to me that he was going to do to me and how it would help me and there was no pain when he gave me the shot and he said hope things work out for you and then he treated me for my other hand and told me to come back in 6 weeks

Dr. Joshua Pletka is a premiere surgeon and a good human, always willing to answer a patient's questions. Fantastic "bedside" manner. Dr. Pletka is doing great. He is a terrific orthopaedic specialist. Dr. Joshua Pletka is recognized for his sustained and outstanding achievements in Orthopaedic surgery medical activities.

Dr Pletka is personable, knowledgeable and a skilled doctor! He took care of my ulnar(elbow) nerve, released it and got it moved to a safe spot in my arm. He is making sure my recovery is going smoothly and is being extra cautious in letting everything heal.

Satisfied and ready for the surgery.

Saw Dr. Pletka a 3-4 times about my extremely painful trigger thumb. I normally hear doom and gloom from doctors, this one told me to go live my life! Still to keep in mind my injuries and adjust where I can, but to still go live and keep being active! If any pain is being irritating, to come back and see him.

Checking in, there was a line out the door; receptionist was kind, wait time was an hour . Dr. Pletka was kind, upbeat, and very good with my young daughter, but again waiting over an hour without updates was frustrating, disappointing, and as my daughter said "annoying and I'd rather be in school, than wait here any longer!" There were definitely alot of side convos amongst the staff that weren't particularly professional and could easily be heard from the waiting room, I get that people chit chat at work, but when your not even trying to be discreet, at the very least watch what your saying. Dr. Joshua Pletka exceeded all my expectations. He replaced my right shoulder using the reverse shoulder arthroplasty method six months ago. I am pain free and am able to use my shoulder and arm confidently and competently. I am looking forward to spending many productive hours in my garden this year. Dr Pletka is amazing. He is serious but exerts confidence by a chuckle here or there to guide you through the details he needs. I had a reverse shoulder replacement just before Covid and he made sure we had communication regarding my Healing process and that I had access to physical therapy in a safe environment. Could only give a generous 3 stars based on the fact that the PA we see there is great! The negative we got there 40 mins early for the appointment. Waited in a line that went out the door and half way down the corridor for 50 mins. The check in staff looked none too concerned about the fact that people were waiting that long.
