Dr. Tu overall at Cedars Sinai Medical Center is a nice doctor. However, with that said, here are the reasons to and the reasons not to use him. Reasons WHY to use him: 1. He is good with lumbar epidural injections and BOTOX. Reasons NOT to use him: 1. Heâs LAZY, DOESâNT EVER ANSWER YOUR EMAILED MESSAGES ON CSLINK, which is frustrating to say the least. And, he wonât respond to you âIFâ he gives you his cell number so, DONâT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING! 2. When you have an in-person discussion with him, he listens ONLY to what you say somewhat. Mainly, heâll over-talk you and say something else as if heâs tired of hearing what you have to say, which can come across as RUDE! 3. He and his office is HORRIBLE with PREPPING for you upcoming OFFICE VISIT with having your medications APPROVED for the visit, READY by the time you get to the appointment, so he can proceed with LONG WAIT TIMES. HE nor his office staff are together or ORGANIZED IN THIS REGARD. I traveled twice to him, ONLY TO NOT HAVE THE BOTOX there for me, and the last time, they DID NOT ORDER THE BOTOX, confirm the new insurance through Cedars ACCURATELY, speak to me PRIOR TO MY OFFICE VISIT, that takes over 2 hours to get to him. He DID NOTHING TO HELP GET THIS CLEARD UP. Just RIDICULOUS! 4. Dr. Tu has a RUDE, LOUD and CONFRONTATIONAL front office woman that I had to report, by the name of SERENA. AVOID HER, sheâs arrogant and unprofessional in my opinion and she is not a good representation of Cedars Sinai Medical Center. I had to report her behavior to the office manager. OVERALL REVIEW, find a better doctor that is ORGANIZED, RETURNS YOUR MESSAGES, LETS YOU SPEAK, HAS A GREAT STAFF THATâS PLEASANT AND THE DOCTOR IS RESPECTFUL AND MAKES TJINF RIGHT IMMEDIATELY FOR PATIENTS THAT TRAVEL LONG DISTANCES TO SEE HIM.
