Over the past 5 years I have had the horrible experience of overhearing Dr. Krug deliver caustic verbal abuse to the people employed to help him. I first heard him yelling at someone years ago, I wrote it off to extenuating circumstances, then two years later, while waiting in the exam room, I heard him mocking a patient and making fun of her with someone, I assume a staff member; that made me think he probably mocks and makes fun of me, too and just an unkind man. My "final straw"visit came this past year. I heard him insulting an employee, verbally abusing her. He called her incompetent and that he could train a monkey to a better job than her. I think there is something terribly wrong with a doctor who cannot master common decency. I heard later that he can't even keep employees working for him due to his inability to extend respect to others. of all the providers in his practice because he can't treat people with respect, something even a monkey could master. 0 stars.

Originally treated in 2006 after having an issue with an optometrist who prescribed glasses after a vision check, but failed to advise me I had glaucoma & a cataract. Dr Krug caught my glaucoma (which is inherited) & implanted a stent to cure the problem & also took care of the cataract. He's performed multiple eye surgeries on me & I've always felt he had a genuine concern about preserving my eyesight & taking care of me as a patient. I have experienced some extended wait times occasionally over the years, but consider that a small price to pay to have 1 of the best ophthalmologists in the SE taking care of my eyesight. I've never felt as if he was rushing thru my visit, nor do I feel he neglected any opportunity to ensure

20/200 to 20/13. Money well spent

Dr. Krüg is a fantastic Doctor, and surgeon. Extraordinarily pro-active for his patients, and an asset to the medical community.

I would rate zero if it was an option, Long 2-3 hour wait times. You may see doctor 1 minute if you're lucky. Check your records, never match what you or doctor say. He has no regard for your true vision, only what he thinks it should be/his reputation. What happened to caring about your patients & how they see? Uncaring God complex, I trusted you to make my vision better & now you dismiss my issues? It is very scary not being able to see good. Maybe I should have asked who your doctor is.
