I love Dr. Kansao! If it is possible to give 6 stars, I would. I have seen a couple of Chiropractors in the past and none of them compare to the experience and professionalism of Dr. Kansao. He is a true expert in the field, and it shows. Not only did he take time to listen to my situation, he also explained to me the steps and solutions clearly. I felt better leaving his office, with my pain level going significantly down. At the end of the session, he had a water bottle ready for me. And most importantly, he imparted some practical applications on how I can avoid my back and hip pain. He even shared with me a collection of his published studies. He is exceptional. PS. Had been putting off going to the chiropractor for nearly 6 months and just had my first consultation with Dr. Kansao this week for ongoing back tightness and pain. I was also able to get an appointment super quick which was an added bonus rather than waiting 3 weeks to be seen like other doctors I have been to. As a former college athlete and someone who still works in college athletics currently, I can 100 percent say that Dr. Kansao is the real deal. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and really took the time to listen to my needs and issues which I appreciated. He explained his plan for me which consisted of stim, ultra sound, adjusting me, taping me up, and provided information to make every day life a little less pain free with small adjustments. He isn’t a Dr. who will tell you to come in just for the sake of coming in and in one session I can say I feel a LOT better and will continue seeing him monthly. If you have been looking at reviews and just keep putting off making the appointment- just call and do it. I am so glad I did! I was on the hunt for another chiropractor as I felt the ones I had prior to him were no longer suiting me and my needs. After thoroughly searching zocdoc, Dr. Kansao has some of the BEST reviews and loyal patients so I decided I wanted to experience the same! Let me just say, Dr. Kansao is my 3rd Chiro I have had and by far THE BEST ONE! He is super knowledgeable and passionate about his job and field. I came because I was unable to look to my left side and was experiencing some lower back pains due to my hips being misaligned from missing treatments since March with my previous chiro. Fortunately enough for me, Dr. Kansao was able to squeeze me in the same morning I called, I left feeling like a crisp $100 bill. I was able to move my neck around, I felt better to sit as he adjusted my hips; he also gave me some tidbits on how to improve my poster, how to sit properly and the electric stem is an absolute dream on the body! Dr. Kansao is wonderful. He educated me on what I was doing wrong for my body and why. His treatment for me felt amazing, no discomfort. He explained each part of the treatment process to ensure I felt safe. I knew I could trust his judgment when he started to share about himself to me. I personally love having a connection with my doctors, this makes me feel more at ease and safe with them. Not every doctor takes the time to chat during the session but Dr. Kanaso did. I really appreciate that especially since this was my first time meeting with a Chiropractor. His staff is very kind and sweet. Clean office too! I high recommend to come see Dr. Kansao! If your insurance doesn’t pay well, he will tell you that and want you to visit him a few more time so he can get more out of it. Was there for 4 visits, first time was just to talk. Other 3 times was muscle stimulation on back for 10 mins each visit. Didn’t get any alignments. Decided to try another chiropractor at court street Brooklyn, referred by a friend, did alignment the first visit and felt superb. Dr. Kansao really helps with my back issues. His soothing demeanor is calming and his treatments considerable diminish my chronic pain more with each visit.

I’m very happy with my experience being treated by Dr. Kansao. He has a great bedside manner, a positive attitude, and explains everything clearly. My back and shoulders haven’t felt this good in ages.

Excellent chiropractor. Very thorough. When I moved from Florida, had to find a chiropractor in NYC. Tried three before finding Dr. Kansao, who was recommended by a work colleague. And just to respond to Mel C, some doctors try to keep their costs down by eliminating extra admin. Pity you did not try, just once with Dr. Kansao, as you will find his skill as a chiropractor, far outweighs the inconvenience you encountered. Excellent chiropractor. Very thorough. Terrible communication skills. Failure to disclose payment due upfront so I was not prepared and chiro refused to see me. They could have told me when I called to schedule. What a waste of time. Filled out like 25 minutes (seriously) worth of redundant forms before they told me this. Will not be going back.
