Dr Izzy has performed Carpal Tunnel Surgery on both of my wrists, as well as Cubital Tunnel on my left elbow. The pain & discomfort was minimal. I saw Dr. Izzy 2 days after the Cubital Surgery & given a follow-up appt 2 weeks later. He told me to call him if I had any problem, or needed him for anything. He is a truly kind & caring doctor who makes you feel you really matter & are important

I have been having trouble with my shoulder and elbow.Dr.Izzi being very caring and understanding listened to my concerns and made recommendations as to what can be done in my best interests.He has done successful surgery on myself and husband.Explains procedures he will do very well.Would trust nobody else with my orthopedic needs.He is the best orthopedic surgeon in the world.Wouls recommend highly.

Dr. Izzi Jr. is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon. He is the Best! He is very detailed oriented, excellent personality, friendly, goes above and beyond to explain everything and listens. He operated on my hand, I had a fractured hamate bone and did an outstanding job. I was in so much pain prior to the surgery and he corrected it. It has been five years and never had a problem with that hand. Now am seeing him for carpal tunnel and wouldn't go anywhere else. His experience and knowledge surpasses any hand surgeon. I wouldn't go anywhere else. His office also has physical therapy and he is also fantastic.

Dr Izzi has a great bed side manner always has a smile. Dr. Izzi Jr. is the best doctor and surgeon in Rhode Island hands down and take a seat. He is very detailed and explains to you everything thoroughly. He listens and and shows concern as if he was taking care of his own family member. He provide me with options and solutions after operating on my left hand, not to mention how amazing he did. His work is excellent and he never gives up on you. Dr. Izzi isn't satisfied unless you are. He goes above and beyond for his patients and provides a sense of hope no matter the circumstances. When I thought I wasn't going to be able to perform push ups again after so so much pain, being that it was an old injury Dr. Izzi comforted me and told me not to worry or lose hope. i’ve visited Dr. Izzi on multiple occasions. First was for a broken foot and years later I visit him once again for problem I had with carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands. During both occasions, I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism that I had ever encountered with a medical professional. Dr. Izzi is thorough and very detail oriented. He covers all of the bases during the visit and his staff is also very friendly and receptive. They offer multiple services including a physical therapist on staff as well as an x-ray machine. Well, he lied to my husband and myself! He told us what we wanted to hear for over 4 months! Said he was doing my surgery and then canceled it a week before !

Dr. Izzi has taking care of me on numerous occasions - in the past I had a broken wrist and he got me back to 100% function - after a great and smooth surgery - Recently I’ve had some knee trouble and he got me in immediately - treated me conservatively and ordered his diagnostics x-ray and MRI - he called me at home spent 30 minutes with me and went over all my options - On my next appointment to review my results he again took the time to explain my choices was not pushing surgery although he exuded great confidence if surgery was necessary and he took his time with me and showed great patience!!! Dr. Izzi was really my last option in an attempt to living a pain free life. After dealing with carpal tunnel pain for over two years, living with chronic pain for over 6 months, being misdiagnosed by my first doctor, I went to Dr. Izzi for a second opinion. I am just over 6 weeks post op from carpal tunnel release surgery and I havent had any carpal tunnel pain since day 1 of my surgery. I couldn't remember what it was like to not live in pain every single day. Being an active person in my 30's, the pain was detrimental to my life, both personally and professionally,. I met Dr. Izzi 19 yrs ago whe I actually liquidfied m L arm. He was very concerned about my amount of blood loss. He showed so much care. He performed roughly 3 operations on my L. Arm, also replacing my wrist bone with a piece of my hip bone. He put hardware in the entire arm..I'm grateful ?? to have gotten an Orthopedic surgeon like him. He was also very knowledgeable about mine & my late daughter Sandi's brittle bones, called O.I. Dr. Izzi kept up w/the O.I. condition. He taught me that it was much more than dense looking broken bones. He told usthat we're Type I & III. I felt fortunate to have our paths cross again in 2019. I told him how my daughter died from a hug too tightly and it broke her sternum. I'm also grateful for the fantastic Orthopedic surgeon's he's referred me to as I recently broke my L knee 2x in 2 mos. And my back. 4 L vertebrae and 2 T vertebrae. He was very nice when we met and he seemed down to earth. However, he refused to discuss my results over the phone in any capacity, only during a follow-up appointment scheduled a month later. This left me to continue for a month to lead a reserved lifestyle and forego exercise unnecessarily, wondering if I had irreversibly injured myself. On top of this disrespect, he notified me that the test also revealed a mass near my thyroid that needed further testing, I could have had it addressed a month earlier if he had just told me, with issues like that time is invaluable. He came off as very smart, and I’ve heard he is a talented surgeon, but I cannot fully respect him or endorse his services based on his priorities and the way he treats other people. Was transfered from a Mass hospital Dec.24 last year. Dr Izzy was able to get rid of the infection and "SAVE"my wrist.

He did an awesome job with my hand after a dog bite. I would recommend him.

Exceptional work on a severely fractured finger I suffered that required surgery. Follow up and aftercare was thorough and thoughtful. Was referred to Dr. Izzi but my primary and would recommend him to my family and friends for sure.

Dr. Izzi is a fantastic hand surgeon. I have been coming to him for years and trust no one else with my arm/hand issues. His bedside manner is awesome. He truly cares about his patients. His office staff is great! I have referred several people to him and they too agree he’s top notch!

I was able to get an appointment the same day as I sustained my injury. Every base was covered to make sure that we had the proper diagnosis. Once I knew what was wrong with me, a game plan was laid out on how to get back to 100%. All and all a great experience!!

Dr. Izzi is fantastic. He has helped me with a number of injuries. He has a warm, caring bedside manner. He is thorough and explains things to me in a way that I understand. The office staff is also great and are very helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr Izzi's for about 8 years and I have complete faith in him and everyone in his office. They are professional, patient, friendly and extremely efficient. He will routinely provide valuable advice on managing my injuries and past surgeries. Thanks to Dr Izzi, I have been able to continue to weight-train and run long distances. Will not recommend. I like just about everyone, however his attitude and "bedside manner" was dreadful. I did not return for a second visit. Very cocky and cavalier and all about HIM, not the patient. Also, even though I had already had an X ray and MRI, the office gave me another Xray in their office. The equipment was ancient and the only Dept of Health certificates posted were from a decade ago. When I requested my records be transferred it took over a week.

Dr. Izzi Jr., MD has repaired my hand through surgery and shots when needed after extensive consultation before each procedure which places you in the confidence one needs. Dr. Izzi MD will go the extra 100 miles to solve your issue. I can not say enough of the service and staff at his office, who will work with you with any problems.

I was very disappointed with him since he allowed me to suffer severe shoulder pain for 6 weeks. And, he had me go to Physical Therapy upstairs from his office where the guy asked to me to put on a Johnny for therapy which has never been requested of me before. Needless to say I went to another Orthopedic Surgeon who performed shoulder surgery on me within 2 weeks and the shoulder pain is gone thanks to my new surgeon.. :) I do not recommend Mr. Izzi to anyone with shoulder problems!

Overall, my experience with Dr. Izzi was excellent. A very comfortable waiting room with an attentive and corteous staff and a short wait time; Dr. Izzi was very professional and thorough in his examination; he took the time to explain issues to me and to identify possible solutions for my medical issue; since my visit and Dr. Izzi's recommendations, I have recovered fully and am delighted by the care I received.
