Dr. Joseph Michael Caruso

My elderly father had vascular testing on his legs today. The tech administrating the test was kind, thorough and explained things. The doctor came in right after the tests and delivered the results. We felt very cared for and listened to. 5 stars from us for this office!

Dr. Caruso & the lab technician who ultimately performed the ultrasound were extremely thorough & professional.

Great doctors and employees. The process was very smooth. The doctor very well explained the problem I was having and gave good suggestion on what would to do next.

There was a minimal wait time before I was called to a room, minimal wait for the doctor to see me. I had to have an ultrasound and everyone was incredible nice, and the doctor quickly followed up. A great place to go for any Vascular concerns.

Dr. Caruso is the worse doctor I have ever been to. I was referred to him by my Hematologist and when the office called I was told they had my records and could help me. My appointment was made for 12:30pm and I arrived at 12:10pm. I set there there till 1:15pm waiting, no one else was there just me. Everyone that worked there even the doctor kept going in and out. They knew I was there. Later after I got home they had sent me an email saying that my appointment was at 1pm. Which is not what I was told when they called. Then enters the doctor, from the time he entered the room till he left he never examined my leg and just stood there looking down at me as if he was the king of the mountain and kept trying to leave the room. According to this doctor he said he could do nothing for me because I had gone to a vein doctor, which I was referred to by my primary doctor. He said it was my fault I was in this condition and I would have to just keep on hurting, which he told me this several times. When I tried to ask questions he would tell me to go back to the other doctor and ask him why he lied about what he did. I have never heard any doctor put done another doctor like what he was doing but then why wouldn't I believe it he was doing the same thing to me. There is no way I would ever go back to this doctor or recommend him to anyone. I will make sure my Hematologist knows about him and how he treats his patients. I did let my Cardiologist know when I saw him the next day and I will let all my doctors know about him. And my nephew who is also a doctor. Dr. Caruso is the worse doctor I have ever been to. Just great care and bedside manor. They got me in the same day and needless to say with the possibility of having a blood clot I was a bit apprehensive. The tech was great, the office staff was friendly and reassuring and Dr. Caruso was off the chain. He explained the results of my ultra sound and hallelujah, no blood clot. I highly recommend this practice even if Dr. Caruso can't sing opera. Just great care and bedside manor. Dr. Caruso and his team showed a tremendous amount of professionalism and compassion when my mother went in for her procedures. As a woman that speaks English as a second language, communicating can be difficult for her but the entire staff were great at understanding and addressing any concerns she had. My experience was great. Staff was very nice and the Dr was very friendly and thorough. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

My spouse had pain in leg below the knee. It was PAD. Appointments are quick & easy, staff is great. Dr. Caruso was kind & understanding. The one star rating is because after 2 surgeries the leg pain never improved. We got 2nd opinion with Dr. Russell Lam, Dallas. He found full blockage from above groin to below the knee. After the 1st surgery my spouse noticed significant improvement in the leg pain. A 2nd surgery is scheduled & were expecting full relief. Thank God my spouse is walking again!
