Dr Askinasi is the most wonderful, gentle, patient and caring chiropractor! I had the worst TMJ 8 years ago. My jaw was locked and i could barely open my mouth. I couldn't really talk and had to go on a liquid diet. My oral surgeon wanted me to try a less invasive route first and recommended Dr. Askinasi to help me. I was a bit skeptical at first to have chiropractic work done on my jaw, but my oral surgeon assured me that Dr Askinasi is different and he is THE ONE. I googled Dr Askinasi and he literally was the only chiropractor that specializes in TMJ treatment in the Northeast. Since I had no other option and was desperate to eat some real food, i decided to make an appointment with him - WHICH WAS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS IN MY LIFE! My jaw improved tremendously just after one session, and i continued to see him for a few months and my jaw was back to normal!!! MY LIFE WAS BACK TO NORMAL!!!!! I have been seeing Dr. Askinasi for over 26 years. I lead an active physical lifestyle and am constantly doing projects around the house, which i probably shouldn't be doing. When I injure myself or a part of my body kinks up, I see Dr. Askinasi. More times than not, I am healed during that first visit. When things are more severe, he gives me a proper regimen to follow that includes stretches, diet and basic everyday changes to my life. Dr. Askinasi has been treating my back for seven years and has worked miracles in increasing my range of motion while greatly reducing my discomfort. In addition, he has educated me about diet, exercise, the impact of stress on my body, and solutions to dealing with ongoing chiropractic issues. He is simply the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Askinasi, when needed, for the past 30 years. The majority of my office visits were because of back pain I encountered while playing basketball, tennis or golf. During my office visits, he always diagnosed the cause and used varied chiropractic techniques to make adjustments to relieve the pain. Dr. Askinasi is very personable and engages in relaxing conversation during the treatment session. He has continued to hone his craft over the years by attending seminars and incorporating new techniques into the treatment plan. After he completes his treatment, if needed, he prescribes activities to perform at home to further help with the back pain recovery process. He always demonstrates a genuine interest in my condition. I have recommended Dr. Askinasi to a number of family members. Dr. Askinasi is the best of the best. Over the past few years I’ve dealt with the aftermath of a back injury (disc herniation) and have seen several chiropractors. Dr. Askinasi is the only one that has helped me. He helped me manage my pain before I had surgery, and has helped me with my post-op recovery and maintaining good spine health ever since. He is the type of provider that listens and then cares for you accordingly using several different techniques, while others just adjust you the same way every appointment then send you on your way. I've been a firm believer in chiropractic since December 2007, just before my first grandchild was born, after Dr. Askinasi treated my back pain. In a very short period of time I experienced dramatic results and was able to hold my grandson without pain or discomfort from the day he was born. I have continued seeing Dr. Askinasi every month for the past 14 years and followed most of his simple recommendations to maintain my good health. I am also grateful for his advice regarding changing my diet to treat my digestive issues that had troubled me most of my life. I followed his advice and again in a short period of time all my digestive issues vanished and have never returned. Truly remarkable since my doctors said there was nothing they could do for me and told me to learn to live with it. Chiropractic maintenance is a necessary ingredient to my total well being and Dr. Askinasi has made me a whole person again through his professional and friendly care.
