Update: I did call June 8 and ask if I could please pay my bill, I feel like it is my responsibility and I did express how I didn't want them to think I was trying to cheat them I just had questions about my bill. I don't mind being dismissed as a patient, but I feel my bill is my responsibility even if I dont understand the charges. She did say they would review the bill and possibly resubmit it to the insurance. I even told her she didn't have to but she said they were going to. I will update my review in a few weeks. They were nice on the phone when I called and are going to let me pay so that is a heavy weight off my shoulders. I have changed my review to a 2 until the next update when I can pay. Original review: This is my personal bad experience with the second and last time I visited this office. I am sure not everyone has had a bad experience here so I am just telling a brief review/explanation for why I gave them only 1 star. I called to pay my bill and ask why my charges were so high compared to my new patient bill. I had my card ready to pay. Long story short they ended up telling me, because I asked about my bill they were going to write it off and it would be considered a nonpayment in the office and I was being dismissed as a patient. They would rather dissmiss me as a patient then help me understand the charges before I paid. I feel like they tried to make me into a person who neglects doctor bills and was refusing to pay. I feel awful like I did something wrong by asking about my bill. I will forever be unfairly labeled as someone who doesn't pay the doctor at that office. All over me having concerns about my bill before I paid. Now the responsibility to pay my bill has been forcibly taken from me and forced on the government as a write off. I am not sure what I do now. It feels wierd and wrong to me. It is my responsibility to pay my bill, not someone else. I feel like I need to trust and let the Lord sort it out for me. I wish them the best and I hope they never do this to anyone else. They damaged my reputation to anyone who sees that and labeled me someone who doesn't take responsibility for their bill. I've been seeing Dr. Abijay since November, he has been very good at answering questions and returning calls if I call in with a questions. Yes it is later in the day after he is done seeing patients, but what do you expect when you call into a specialist's office. He has helped me greatly with my condition.

Excellent! Very knowledgeable and easy to interact with. Highly recommend

He Really Should Get A New Reception. I Brought My Clint To See The Doctor And It Was Ridiculous The Level Of Unprofessionalism That This Women Had She Was Very Rude She Sent Me And A Disable Client Downstairs To Wait Over An Hour Before We Where Called Back Up To Check In.This Was One Of My Worst Trips To A Doctors Office

My wife has struggle witha neurological issues for 25 years and has been on the same medication for over 15 years. My wife has to call and get refill an a regular basis and we get charged 232 dollars for 5 mins on the phone... absolutely ridiculous and then won't refill prescriptions for the allowed 90 days only does 30 so she has to go back in and he never even performs an exam. He just wants her to come in to bill us and insurance. Ridiculous. His staff is always too busy ordering food out to help you and is rude much of the time. Go somewhere else. You will be happier. Because my neurological issues involved peripheral dysfunction (digestive agitation, tremors, etc., ...) I inquired about those "possible correlations". His response, "I don't do anything below the chin" ... (????WTH, I am simply trying to gain an understanding of my condition!) There is a scientific thing called the "Brain to Body Connection" that is undeniable (!) and if you don't understand that (in my humble opinion) you don't need to be involved with human anatomy. I have worked in and around Medicine for a span of over the past 20 years (locally and regionally), so I speak from a vantage point of both Professional and Patient. Given this context ... I cannot recommend this "individual". You would be wise to reconsider other choices. I want to really thank dr abijay and his staff for really taking the time to make sure my health was first. I dont have words to describe how much this doctor and his staff made me feel and just took the time to make sure my health was first priority. Dr. Abijay is a great doctor and his techs are nice but his receptionists/front staff is awful. Not friendly at all. Even made it difficult for me to get refills on the prescriptions I was prescribed! One incident on the phone with Ariana I think it was? She couldn’t hear me at the beginning so I spoke up. Then she proceeded to tell me not to yell at her. I’ve debated finding another Neurologist and his front staff is one attitude away from that happening. But Dr. Abijay himself, is great. Dr. Abijay is amazing and caring, he explains well and also makes sure you understand. He doesn't rush in and out of rooms which is really good considering many of the different reasons to be there in the first place. Now the front desk staff does not reflect Abijays ways at all they are rude, not professional, and may i add not considerate for others. We've rolled a elderly lady into the office because they wouldnt let the daughter in without a mask which i understand considering COVID-19. They were going to leave the mother, which had a mask on, in the hallway while the daughter ran downstairs to go get one. My wife sees dr abijay for siezers and he is so kind and understanding.

I went to see Dr.Abijay for help with my neorothpy and have neve been treated so bad. He was so rude. I will never go back

Dr Abijay himself deserves 5 stars but the front office staff only deserves 1!! He is very good at his job and will do everything possible to help find the cause of whatever is going on with your nervous system. Only thing, I really wish he would get new office staff, because they don't care and will use a call on hold to block their phones, stop taking calls early, make it a complete pain to get meds or refills and generally go out of their way to make people feel uneasy or uncomfortable. The only positive feedback that I can give is that after a lengthy period of time, he finally referred my husband to another facility. His office staff is probably the rudest group I have ever had any dealings with. When people go to a specialist, there is obviously a problem or they wouldn't be there. Kindness and compassion are traits this office is sadly lacking.

Front desk staff are very rude and dismissive. It's a shame they don't seem to care because Dr. Abijay is great . I'm sure they run off patients faster than he sees them. Been they're 3 years now. Soon to find someone else because of the ladies.

I called over here to Dr Abajays office and it was 11:30 on Friday. I was on hold for 27 minutes and I was a medical emergency from MCH . I needed to be seen due to a condition that was a sudden onset. I left my phone on speaker in case someone would answer so then I used my cell phone to call office and they had already put the we are closed message on. So I knew she used my phone call to block anymore calls to their office. In a hurry for a 3 day holiday? It's a shame that the receptionist doesn't care about patients like I know Dr. Abajay does. Excellent neurologist; diagnosed an element of my epilepsy that no other neurologist had found in the previous 10 years! Now unfortunately his front office staff is absolutely AWFUL! Unprofessional, disorganized, and on the phone, bordering on rude! His practice is VERY popular, so the appointment time is only a general guideline and be prepared to wait for up to an additional hour after before you get in to see him. However, despite the office staff and the wait, I wouldn't change!

Dr. Abijay is friendly and knowledgeable. I went in for some help with chronic tension headaches, and he immediately fixed the problem. The only down side is that his office is very busy, and he therefore does not have alot of time to spend with each patient.

Nerves are most vulnerable at places in your body where they travel through narrow spaces but have little soft tissue to support them. Dr Abijay not only did you totally disrespect me due to the fact that you totally overlooked all of my signs, symptoms and even X-rays that I brought to you showing you nerve but you have further delayed treatment and prolonged my pain. You saw me as a brain injured patient and nothing more. You never even got out of your chair to do an actual neurologic examina
