Dr. Mendoza and staff was pleasant & very respectful. However, 45 minutes of my time, I could never get back, was wasted by seeing a benefits coordinator. I know my benefits and what I'm to pay, as well as, what I qualify for. I didn't need anyone to tell me. Lab took all of 5 minutes, seeing the doctor took approximately 30 minutes. I arrived at 10:30, appt was 10:40, left approximately noon. The rest of the time I was just waiting.

Dr Mendoza is a very kind soft spoken and gentle Dr. Very cautious and caring. I feel very comfortable talking to him and am very happy with his thoughtful care plan for me. At times because of the mask Dr Mendoza can be hard to understand. My only complaint would be is when you have to call the office you are always on hold and it is easier to leave a message for them to call you back. And you leave a message with a receptionist and your nurse will call you back. I also am very happy with Dr Mendoza’s PA. Maggie. Very caring also and is great explaining things

I cannot say enough about Dr. Jose Mendoza. He is kind, compassionate, thorough and will leave no stone unturned in your care. He is my oncologist/hematologist and has cared for me through 2 strokes and breast cancer. He is the ABSOLUTE BEST!

I was pleased with his bed side manner.He took extra time explaining my condition the cases and treatments and possible side effects. I will highly recommend him to relatives and friends , I will continue to e his patient.

My experience with Dr. Mendoza has been the best! He was referred to me by my Primary Care Dr. I do not know much about the cancer I have been diagnosed with. Dr Mendoza has gently guided me, educated and in a professional manner set up a treatment plan. I have confidence in his skill, am trusting that I will have a positive outcome.

Dr Mendoza is a very outstanding doctor and have an excellent bedside manner. He cares about his patients by informing them of their test results and anything they need to know good or bad which I like.

Due to covid I did a virtual call with Dr. Mendoza, however the call went well. I am a new patient, but was welcomed, and felt like I have been a long time patient. Dr. Mendoza had already retrieved my records from my PMC doctor, and was ready to discuss my visit.

After countless doctor and hospital visits, I was referred to a hematologist as one of the many recommended followups to determine cause of periodic illness. I was recommended to Dr. Mendoza by a family member who is also a patient. Dr. Mendoza diagnosed the problem and it was cancer. Finally, an answer. Dr. Mendoza articulated the issues, set forth a treatment plan and continues with followup and support. He is very knowledgeable and thorough; caring; and, communicates effectively with his patients.

Dr Mendoza from the very start treated me like a long-term patient that he has been treating for years. He is attentive, caring and patient. During this process he has been there every step of the way making sure that I'm getting all the care I need from Him and his staff.

Dr. Mendoza was recommended to me by Dr. Wathen, my primary care physician for 14 years. Dr. Wathen speaks very highly of Dr. Mendoza. I trust what Dr. Wathen has to say and now I will put my trust in Dr. Mendoza.

I was very disappointed with the service I received. After sitting for my appointment, I was told that I had a temperature and needed to self quarantine for one week or get a Covid test. I opted for the quarantine since I had already had two Covid tests which were both negative. When I Callie’s to cancel my appointment for Monday, October 4, I was asked if I wanted to reschedule for later in the week, which I declined due to a bout with diarrhea. When I called back to make an appointment, I was told that I needed to quarantine for two weeks, which was not what I had been told originally. I couldn’t convince the person that I was speaking with that I was told one week because she said the record showed that I had been told two weeks. I’m frankly afraid to use your services at all after this treatment.

Dr, Mendoza is thorough and has a good bedside manner. His knowledge and empathy can is comforting for a cancer patient.

Dr. Mendoza patiently answered all of my questions and gave me valuable information about my prognosis and about my ongoing care.

My G.P. referred me to Dr. Mendoza after observing irregularities in my blood workup during a checkup. I am impressed that he was able to quickly diagnose my condition and come up with a treatment plan that has brought my blood condition under control and maintained it for the last 2 years. Dr. Mendoza and the people working with him are friendly, knowledgeable and patient in answering any questions or concerns that I may have.

Yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Mendoza to my family and friends. He is knowledgeable, personable, and he takes time to listen to my concerns, and to carefully explain my situation.

The care I have received from Dr. Mendoza following my cancer surgery has been, above all else, compassionate. He is both informative and willing to explain and/or discuss all aspects of the care he provides.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mendoza since 2016. I was nervous when I found out that I had cancer as most patients are. Dr. Mendoza's first consultation with me set the bar for his standard of care. He gave me the facts in a way that made it palatable for me to understand and trust his vision of care moving forward. Every step of the way he has treated me like his ONLY patient whenever I visit his office. More importantly I have learned, through his care, that my CLL is just a new normal for me and not necessarily a death sentence. I owe that all to him and his very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Dr. Mendoza is very nice. He does listen, and was honest with me in the beginning that he didn't know a lot about my illness, but he would certainly read up on it and consult with another specialist for treatment plan. The office is always very helpful too. They return online portal messages or phone calls within 24hours. They are really great with that. Sometimes it's a little longer if you call and leave a message. But the office is very responsive and really that's awesome. Also for the most part, they are ON TIME. That and returning my messages is a huge plus for me.

Absolutely! Dr. Mendoza is very professional, empathetic, patient and very knowledgeable. He stays abreast of latest medical trends and improvements. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes all the time you need to ensure that you are comfortable and understand everything you need for treatment and wellness. I highly recommend him. I wouldn't want any other oncologist to treat me.

Dr. Mendoza has always been very knowledgeable, detailed with his discussions with my health issues. I feel very confident that he is helping me to make good decisions regarding the proper procedures to help me with recovery to good health. He takes time out of his schedule to contact me and review details.

Dr. Mendoza is an excellent doctor. He listens to what I have to say. He is very responsive. Once I had a problem and the doctor called him from her office. He was not in the office but he called his assistant and made arrangements so I could receive treatment once I finished with the other doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Mendoza.

He could be a good doctor if listens to the question the patient is asking. Seems to always be in a hurry.
