I honestly believe any reviews written with five stars were people in the doctors office or the doctor himself. I came into to have surgery and it’s true the wait times are at the very least 3 hours long & there are so many patients scheduled to see the doctor and there aren’t even enough chairs for everyone to sit their 3 hours & wait to be called by the doctor... ridiculous. You would think the least they could do if have enough chairs. I came in to have a cleft lift incision done and not only I get an infection on the surgical site but I also contracted a rare skin infection that took 2 separate dermatologists to diagnose from when they shaved my skin at hialeah hospital. Apart from that when I came into the office after my surgery and expressed my concerns of an infection they completely disregarded me. I ended up in an ER 6 days later and had an emergency surgery to drain the infection. The infection was so large I ended up with a machine and tube connected to the surgical site that would drain any liquid from the open wound. It wasn’t until I went to a surgeon in Miramar memorial I believe and had a different method of surgery done (because the method Lamas performed on me was an outdated method with high failure rates) that I was finally healed. I have the ugliest scar and I had the machine connected to my body for 2+months. Overall, stay away from this doctor.
