Dr. Jonathon S Sillman

I do not recommend Dr. Sillman. Shows no empathy of what a tinnitus patient goes through. I felt I could give yes or no answers only before being moved on to the next question and he gave yes and no answers. Little help with my eustachian tube dysfunction and my horrible tinnitus condition. A hearing type test and some kind of other test done involving very loud noise funneled through ear plugs into my ears has exacerbated my tinnitus terribly. I pray the volume of my tinnitus eases up, but it has been a week now and ongoing. When I told Dr. Sillman during my visit about how my tinnitus was made worse from the tests just given and would it calm down, his answer was, "it should"!? Why would these tests of loud noise plugged into my ears be done on a tinnitus patient without being told prior of any possible concerns as a result. I have learned since this has been a complaint by other tinnitus sufferers being done there through his office. Help and answers would be appreciated.

Too expensive for too little value. With Cigna insurance for one visit I was charged a total of $1,551. This included an auditory exam, $1,003, examination by a resident, $33, a facility fee for the privilege of being in his office, $361, and last, by Dr Sillman who saw me for 8 minutes, $154. Diagnosis: come back in a year for another exam.

Dr Sillman is thorough and trusted. I needed an ENT with neurological knowledge and training. He is direct. For some patients it may be difficult to understand him at times if you are unaware of some of your medical conditions and diagnosis. Ask questions. His bedside manner has certainly improved over the years. Overall a very good physician.

I did not even get to see Dr. Sillman. I made an appointment a month ago and was called the night before my appointment to clarify that this ENT only does ears and since I have a problem with my throat I would have to find a different doctor. It would have been nice to know a month ago so I did not waste more time.

This man is rude, condescending , and arrogant. Spent maybe 10 minutes with me. Did not listen to my concerns. He is supposed to be some professional ENT. Avoid any appointments with him. You will not be happy.

Dr. Sillman's office is efficient and friendly, however Dr. Sillman did not take the time to understand my vertigo condition or me as a person. He recommended a treatment that has inappropriate for me. He injected gentimicin in my ear. It caused me to be disabled for a few months and I continued to have vertigo attacks. He did not disclose all the possible complications from the injection. My life is permanently changed from the injection. I would not recommend Dr. Sillman or the injection.
