Dr Beatty, Is the best. He is perceptive, thorough, empathic, remarkably knowledgeable, compassionate, pleasant and prompt. He answers telephone calls and takes time during appointments. He is committed to integrity and professionalism. He cares about the future while focusing on today. I’m lucky we found him and I’m glad to have the opportunity to be his patient. And for the record, his staff is special as well. The whole team is professional and responsive to patient’s needs. I can’t thank them enough for the care and help I have received.

I have been a patient with Dr Beatty for nearly five years now and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with him and his staff. Dr. Beatty and his physicians assistant Lauren go a long way in making me feel comfortable talking about whatever issues I may be having and coming to them for anything I need. I’ve been seeing Dr. Beatty for about a year and a half now for my medication and have never been more pleased with a doctors office. They make getting an appointment easy and even go above and beyond to work out any problem you may encounter with the pharmacy/insurance. I see Dr. Beatty. He is the most caring doc out there!!! Very intelligent and knows his stuff, while still being able to talk to you like a human—meaning he doesn’t speak above you or over you. I only wished I lived closer so I could take advantage of some of the new treatments he’s currently offering. He’s just the best— go see him if you can. You won’t regret it! He will always try his best to help you! If you should need further evaluation or treatment from another type of specialist, he will refer you to other great docs he knows or he will try to find one for you. I had originally contacted Dr. Beatty through his Psychology Today site to inquire of his services; he never responded so I called his office directly and spoke to the Receptionist. For some reason, we were not communicating effectively; perhaps it me not receiving the information due to distraction of some kind however I found her very impatient and condescending when I was trying to clarify questions about the credentials of the staff; specifically re who conducts the psychotherapy as I am seeking this treatment as well. She told me Dr. Beatty wanted her to set up an apt. with the P.A. even though I askerd for him. Im presuming because she was less expensive. The Receptionist did state that no insurance was accepted; all evals and tx were out of pocket. I told her I didn't think it would not be a good fit for me, and we ended the conversation. A short time after that, I contacted Dr. Beatty again, through Psychology Today, as I just wanted him to confirm that he doen't take insurance and questioned this, respectfully, as many other practices provide the same treatment; TMS; (including Penn) and accept insurance. Once again, he never responded. After several days passed, I decided to schedule an apt. with the P.A. as originally suggested. I left a message and the Receptionist called me back with the message to please return her call, and , by the way, they weren't accepting new patients. I then returned HER call asking to be put on a wait list, and requested a call back to arrange this. My call was never returned. Right from the start, I found the lack of communication, both from Dr. Beatty, and his Receptionist, to be quite unprofessional and clearly unacceptable. I hope this review provides effective feedback to both this practice and those seeking help in an efficient manner. Based on my experience, I would not recommend. The providers are excellent. Appointments are on time and offices are calm and pleasant.

Was referred here by my primary after months of trying to find help on my own. (Years really) Made an appointment, but no showed cause of work (last minute work trip out of state) and like various mental issues that I’m trying to get help for. Was charged per policy, fine. Tried to make another appointment, and was told that because of my no show I wouldn’t be able to meet with the doctor i was referred to. I get it these all seem like reasonable things, but trying to get help is already so difficult. Things like this just make it even harder. Dr Beatty and the Wave treatment center have literally saved my life. I cannot say enough. Prior to, I had tried over 12 SSRI/SNRI’s. All bringing their own unique side effects with them. TMS was introduced as an option. After I initially laughed at the thought of this, I decided to look further into it. This is an option that has a high success rate, without swallowing a pill. Without swallowing a pill! That’s a no brainer. I would highly recommend this form of treatment and Dr Beatty to any family member or friend. He is the expert you see when you’re tired of dealing with nonsense from other Drs. Dr Beatty and the Wave treatment center have literally saved my life. I cannot say enough. Dr. Beatty and therapist Karla do a great job. I’m very happy with my treatment there.

I may change this review later, but i'll say that right off the bat, they don't make it too easy to make an appointment for a new client. Their website needs work, and when i called, the receptionist doesn't make appointments, so i'm just waiting for their scheduling department to get back to me. This seems unwise for an addictions treatment facility; i would think that they would want to make getting an appointment easier than this. Dr. Beatty was very nice and very thorough and did not rush me even though I was late.

Dr. Beatty is super kind and very knowledgeable. He very effectively managed my complex case and did it with a human touch. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Beatty takes time to listen to his patients. He is kind, personable, knowledgeable... one of the most caring and empathetic doctors I have ever had, which unfortunately is a rarity in today’s health system. I highly recommend Dr. Beatty, you won’t regret it.

Dr. Beatty is not only very professional in the way he deals with people but also very personable. I honestly feel that he is taking the time to get to know me to find the best possible solution and not the quickest as i have in the past. I have been to other psychiatrist and Dr. Beatty is better in every aspect. Highly recommended!!!
