I had a perfect experience with Dr. Matzon. Dr. Matzon did a wide awake procedure on my right hand for Carpel Tunnel and Trigger Finger. I never had any pain during the surgery and after the surgery when I went home. I am going back in a month for the same procedure on my left hand. I would recommend Dr. Matzon to anyone who has this kind of problem that I had. I felt very confident having Dr. Matzon as my doctor.

I had a sudden onset of trigger thumb. On my sister’s recommendation I made an appointment with Dr. Matzon. It was very quick & easy to get an appointment to see him in a week. The front desk registrar was very pleasant & efficient. It was just 15 minutes after that I was called back. I saw a very knowledgeable resident & after awhile Dr. Matzon came in. I felt at ease right away with him. He examined my hand & then discussed options with me, making sure I had no questions or concerns. He was very kind & sympathetic. I will be returning to see him & schedule surgery. I’m not excited about having surgery, but I know I’ll be in good hands.

Dr. Matzon is a gifted doctor and surgeon, He has done successful carpal tunnel surgery on both my hands, trigger thumb surgery on my left hand, then repair of a broken left wrist and tendon transfer surgery on my left hand. Dr. Matzon has preformed surgery on my hand after a dog bite & I’ve been seeing him lately for pain in my wrist. He is very caring & doesn’t rush into surgery first

Doc Matzon was awesome. He did my Carpal Tunnel Surgery last Friday and it was almost painless. I am 5 days post surgery and am typing. The guy knows his profession and performs flawlessly. The staff at Jefferson Surgical Center in Sewell are the best bar none. Thank you to everyone for making this very stressful day a little more bearable.

My visit was a wonderful experience.

Dr. Matzon is wonderful! My son got hurt on the weekend & the local ER recommended with see him ASAP. I called the office Monday morning & got an appointment that afternoon. X-rays taken right there & surgery scheduled that Wednesday to repair his left index finger & tendon that were cut. Everything was explained to us in detail & surgery went great! A few weeks of physical therapy & he's got full use of his finger again! Thank you Dr. Matzon

I had carpal tunnel surgery first on my right and and then on my left. Completely eliminated my symptoms in both hands. I went back to Dr. Matzon because I had terrible pain in my right thumb. He gave me a steroid injection and after about a week the pain was gone. Wish all my doctors were this good.

Dr. Matzon going forward will be my hand and wrist surgeon. Had a bothersome cyst removed from my thumb and all that I heard of him was correct. Everything he said in explaining to me what procedures he was doing and post-operative surgery was right on the money. Tells you exactly about your condition and answers any questions you may have. A real professional!

I was so apprehensive about having carpel tunnel surgery before seeing doctor Matzon. My fears we're baseless. Had the surgery (painless) and was golfing 10 days later.

Dr. Matzon was very thorough in explaining my procedures. During the procedures he asked several times how I was doing and explained what he was doing. Dr. Matzon answered all of my questions. He did not make me feel like I was a bother. I was very happy with his "bedside" manner. Dr. Matzon is very good at what he does! My recovery time was just as he had said. His staff was very accommodating and they called several days after the procedures to see if I was ok. Best Doctor I've had.
