Dr Su is very thorough He checks everything and ask a lot of questions. He has always been polite and apologetic for making me wait. I came back n wrong day last time and he worked me into the schedule during his lunch. He finds things that my primary care doesn’t even check

WORST doctor and most hateful person I have ever seen, and I have seen many doctors!!! He is indescribably rude and intentionally degrading. When he talks, it is clear that he is spiteful. My first impression is that he loves himself and hates everybody else. If I was sick, and he was the last doctor on earth, I would refuse to see him.

Worst doctor and most hateful person I have ever encountered. I cannot believe he is allowed to practice medicine or even be around people. When he speaks, you realize he is spiteful. He acts like he loves himself and hates everyone else. Horrifying appointment. Fortunately, I have seen many excellent doctors and only this one offensive doctor.

I am not sure what more you want. I just wrote an indepth review on Dr Su. I gave him 5 stars even though I have never been to a rheumatologist, I have been to other doctors throughout my 67 years of life. If you need more info, please email me or call me.

I saw Dr Su in early Jan 2016. He was very rude, waited about 2 hrs in his office before he came in. My ex husband took me and went into appt with me. Treated me like a little child. I changed rheumatologosts within 3 mos.

I had to walk out. I don’t care that he told me that I was Obese or that I didn’t have arthritis first off I know I’m fat lol and second thanks for the rule out of Arthritis. But to walk in and start interrogating me and asking me why I’m there, why did my doctor send me, and then go on to tell me “let me see you’re going to say it’s not all it’s because you ache? but the lab results aren’t even high because math!” and then go on with your calculations as if I am listening still when clearly I am trying to decide if you have a form of Autism and if I should be offended or not...but I decided you were clearly just really going out of your way to hold that condescending tone with me and let your ego fill that office space. So I had to go. No I don’t care what else you think might be wrong with me after you say stuff like “I’m not pain management that’s their job to manage pain. Sir, I wasn’t looking for meds but hey maybe that’s what you thought? I was really just looking an answer.

Rude and arrogant. He doesn't listen to your concerns because he doesn't seem 2 care. Possibly a cyborg and I wouldn't refer my worst enemy 2 him

I would never recommend Dr. Su! He is not a good doctor and he is an even worse person! So unprofessional and uncaring. Very judgmental and condescending. On my first visit decided that I didn't have RA but rather Hepatitis C because I have a lot of tattoos. Needless to say, he was very wrong and 10 months later, I finally have a new rheumatologist. One who listens to me and explains things to me. One who is nice to me! The complete opposite of Dr. Su and I never have to talk to him again.

Took my elderly mother to him and rude is an understatement. Two and a half hours of questions rapidly being asked and then being spoke down to when she couldn't answer to his satisfaction, or quickly. I felt assaulted and mentally drained, and I wasn't the patient.

The other reviewers were right - do NOT see this jerk. Not only is he the worst physician I've EVER seen, he's just a nasty human being.

Rude! Doesn’t allow you to speak. Someone else said he’s a robot and I agree. Whenever I tried to say something he said I didn’t ask you that DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME OR INFORMATION with this creep

I saw Dr. Su several times to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of chronic inflammatory condition. Without exaggeration, Dr. Su is likely the most rude and condescending physician I have ever encountered. With no bed-side manner, He conducts his visits as a 1-sided interrogation, with no engagement allowed by the patient. When I asked a question, he reprimanded me for basically "talking out of turn". Strongly recommend finding another physician.

Dr. Su by far worst dr. in my 60+ years. Non communicative. Worst bedside manner. Like a robot. Fill many pages of ? each visit then doesn't refer to your answers & verbally asks each question. I understand thorough but he's ridiculous. Doesn't listen. Loads u up with tests ordered recently by previous dr. & in records. This will run up your bills. Save your money & time...find another dr. Sorry I ever saw him & sorrier I saw him twice. He should've picked a profession not dealing with people!

Worse experience with a specialist. He walked in & asked me "why are you even here". He did not care to hear any of my medical history. Only wanted me to answer his questions which were yes, no & date. He said to me "it works best if I ask for question & you wait to answer it". He spoke to me like I was stupid & didn't understand the human body. Before he left the office he named 5 other specialist WHICH DOESNT MAKE SENSE or explained why. I left the office crying and It ruined my whole weekend.

This is probably one of the most horrible doctor visits I have ever experienced. He is obnoxious, doesn't listen, rude, full of pretentiousness. Just overall an ugly person to deal with, he does not give you any assistance, alternative advice just a real unprofessional jerk. I would fire this man, or request resignation. He seems to carry himself as if he is the sharpest knife in the room...without question--he's probably the dullest. The way he conducts himself will lead to failures. I wouldn't take my dog to him. Dr Su is a thoughtful, careful physician who did a great deal to assist in stabilizing bone density. His understanding of new drugs to help with thinning bones was outstanding and he gave great advise on how to monitor blood levels and take steps to increase calcium. The best.

I value his intellect and experience, he's straight-forward and helps those of us dealing with the baffling and scary issues associated with autoimmune disease, I would rather get the quick and truthful analyses, than dealing with mamby-pamby platitudes from patronizing docs - so yes I would recommend Dr Su any day!

Dr. Su had been my Rheumatologist for over 12 years. He questions you on important information & explains himself thoroughly. He often found things other doctors did not & suggested appropriate treatment. The whole time he is with you is spent on how you are doing & how you can improve medically. After blood tests, he calls you on his personal time & explains in detail the results. I'm sorry Dr. Su no longer practices at the Clinic. He was one of the best doctors I've ever had!

I agree that he is abrupt and dismissive at times but he asks the pertinent questions that help him decide what to do for you. His wheels are turning as he is talking to you. He doesn't like small talk and does most of the talking, but in the end, he was the only rheumatologist to listen to the treatments I was willing to do and worked so well with me that I am now recovering and able to work full time. He will call you after hours and talk with you for 20-40 minutes. That's huge in my book.

I visited the Cleveland Clinic for my first time on April 8th, 2016. I've been suffering with pain and swelling in my feet and ankles for seven months, and was referred by my primary care doctor to a Rheumatologist at the Clinic. Although we live an hour away, I was sure it'd be worth the drive to see a doctor at such a world class facility. The doctor's name was Johnny Su. The appointment began with Dr. Su being an hour late. However this did not bother me as it's understandable that offices and facilities such as this can fall behind with appointments. Once the appointment began though, I can honestly say that I've never been so demeaned and treated so poorly as I was during this experience. Dr. Su behaved as if I was an idiot, disregarded the information I gave him, questioned why I was even there, and communicated in a tone that suggested I was a bother and wasn't deserving of his time. I had two family members who joined me for the appointment, and they were appalled at the way he acted. One of them ended up leaving the room to get away from him. I can honestly say that I've never been so demeaned and treated so poorly as I was during this experience. Dr. Su behaved as if I was an idiot, disregarded the information I gave him, questioned why I was even there, and communicated in a tone that suggested I was a bother and wasn't deserving of his time. I had two family members who joined me for the appointment, and they were appalled at the way he acted. This was an experience I never would have expected, and unfortunately I won't return.
