Dr. John Joseph Viola

Dr Viola did my lumbar surgery .I couldn't be more satisfied ! He is an amazing Doctor and never felt this good in years .I have recently left the florida area to move back North ..I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who wants a great doctor,good bed side manor and willing to make you feel confident .

Dr. Never returns phone calls for patient care. Not only unprofessional but negligent if you ask me. 9 phone calls later, still no return call.

Very helpful and friendly. They are quick to return calls and set up appointments. I was very comfortable asking many questions, and Dr. Viola and staff never once made me feel rushed. Highly recommended!

My wife called for a referral to see a Doctor from our Family Doctor. We received it and called for an appointment. The scheduler called me back within 24 hours and I had an appointment at my convenience. I in turn texted through MyChart about questions I had and in moments,probably 4 hours at most...I received a call from office and later an email. In a few days I also received in the mail all I needed. I was set up with a MRI that I would need when I go to Doctor and with everything very satisfied with this office manager and the Doctors quick response or Nurses quick response to my questions. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DR. After 6 failed back surgeries on L3, 4, 5 & S1, which left a horrendous scar from a doctor up in the panhandle, Dr. Viola went over MRI with me and my options, I decided to give it, yes 1 more attempt. He did a spinal fusion on the areas mentioned above and somehow only leaving a thin line of a scar versus the ugly crinkled up skin about 1/2 in wide. He inserted 2 rods, 6 screws, and 3 spacers, it finally worked!! He's great, highly recommend him!

I had lost control and use of my left arm, I also had severe pain in my right arm. Dr. Viola fused 4 cervical bones in my neck, Scary operation, But 5 years later everything is still great.

Great listener abd carefully explained my situation and what he could do to possibly help me. I liked him right away.

I was a patient of Dr Viola's in 2015. I came to him with extreme integrity loss/pain in my lower back. After much testing nothing sufficient was discovered to be the cause of integrity loss/constant pain. Another year has gone by of daily unforgiving pain. It's finally been discovered the cause of my back pain is abdominal separation. Increasing my abdominal cavity girth, in turn weakening my lower spine making it even more prone to injury. Thanks for missing the obvious and extra years of pain

Both my son and myself had back surgery. Dr Viola did a great job getting rid of the pain. He has great bedside manner and I have recommended him to a number of people

After 7 months of looking for answers to a mysterious itching of my arms, and several non effective treatments, Dr Viola preformed neck surgery and I was amazed at the relief! He's my hero, and I recommend him to anyone looking for impossible answers!!! He gave me my life back.
