Dr. John W Utrie

Very rude made me very uncomfortable, has a terrible bedside manor. I felt like I was interrupting his day. I have never been treated by doctor like that before, and I have seen a lot of doctors because of a host of medical issues.

I am surprised by the positive reviews. The nurses are the reason I gave an extra star. Those women are incredibly kind and informative. Dr. Utrie himself is very unapproachable and unkind. He walked into/out of the the room and wouldn’t greet or agknowledge me. Did the Start of the procedure and his nurse did the remainder. He couldn’t help me with my problem. If you like having a doctor who is friendly, nice, addresses you when he’s in your presence and makes you feel comfortable, then he is NOT the doctor for you.

Dr. Utrie is not a very kind human being. I was late (out of my control) about 15 min for my surgery, and he pulled me aside in the pre op room and asked me “do you own a cell phone?!” I said “yes, why?” He responds with, “ you could call and tell us you were late.” My response,” I did, as soon as I knew I’d be late, I called.” He made me so uncomfortable before the surgery and after. He has horrible bed side manner and should be ashamed of how he treated me and I’ve heard how he treats others.

Dr. Utrie was my 2nd surgeon, after my first prolapse surgery failed. I am very high risk because of a rare autoimmune disease. Sadly this surgery also failed & I had a lot of complications. I do not blame Dr. Utrie at all, however he will not see me any more & that is why my low rating. I think I deserve a meeting with him.

Superb, knowledgeable, explain a procedure and results in terms that are understandable. Staff is out of this world !!! WOULD recommend him to any one

As a healthcare professional myself, it was a little uncomfortable for me to look for a provider outside of my group of colleagues and coworkers. Dr. Utrie was recommended and, following a little research, I selected him as my surgeon. To say I am pleased is an understatement. He and his staff are courteous, knowledgeable, professional yet personal, and the whole experience was reassuring. He is an excellent surgeon. I am so grateful to he and his staff for the care they provided.

Extremely professional and trustworthy service. Very talented doctor who knows what he is doing. Also very good and friendly staff. Would recommend Dr Utrie to anyone. I got rectocele and cystocele repaired, no complaints what so ever.
