John Townsend III

Dr Townsend is extremely helpful and courteous . Hes really helped me for the last decade

Like too many specialists these days, Dr. Townsend was eager to prescribe a dangerously addictive medication as a long term solution to a minor abnormality that wasn't life threatening or in any way impeding my quality of life. Now, after taking the medication ONLY AS PRESCRIBED for only two months, suddenly, I find myself in the grips of seruous withdrawal because Dr. Townsend failed to actually send the prescription he spent half our followup phone appointment trying to complete. All this despite the fact that he was told in advance that a new prescription would need to be picked up the same day as the appointment, because I was going to run out (again, taking the med only as prescribed). I genuinely don't think he understands or cares about the risk of overprescribing benzodiazepines. This is exactly how the opioid crisis got started, and shows that this medical practitioner, in particular, has not learned anything from past mistakes.

I was going there for over a year , now I have to go to headache clinic because of all the medicine I was on was working against each other ! You think Townsend would have caught on to that ,not ! Townsend, doesn’t deserve Dr because he needs his license pulled ! All he does it look at computer never looks at the patient, worst experience I ever had only second neurologist I ever been to , I was really spoiled with my first one , Townsend is a wackanoodle!!!! In my files I requested was a lot of false documents!

I had an appointment schedule at 3:20 and called prior to for directions. Couldn't get anyone on the phone. Had to choose the option as if I were a doctor to get someone to answer the phone. I arrive at 3:35 and was told that I could not be seen. I said to the lady your office was hard to find for the sign down in the lobby was confusing. She said not my problem. They give a fifth teen minute window for appointments. I had made this appointment four months prior. I will never recommend this Ofc.
