I had 10:15 appt. with whom I guess was Dr. Steck because he never introduced himself to me. I checked in at 9:45 to fill out the paper work and before I finished the first page I was called to the back. I was told I could complete the paperwork in the back. Moments later, Dr. Steck appeared read my MRI did what he called a test of my fingers. Told me to continue with the bone specialist and was in such a rush couldn’t answer my questions. The worse treatment I’ve ever received and then was asked to leave the room and complete my paperwork at the check out counter. I removed my paper work and left the clipboard. 4 years ago I was a patient of Dr Steck. He ordered a back brace for me then. It came in handy recently when my back went out again. It has helped tremendously. Thank you sir!

I have had two successful surgeries with Dr. Steck. He and his staff are very professional and easy to work with. I recommend him highly!!!

Dr.Steck is the best in my books,I would highly recommend him to every one I had back surgery back in 2017 from another Dr I suffered with back pain for a year after that I went to Dr Steck in 2019 he found the problem and operated on me in Sept 2019 and I am good to go I am so thankful for him that I have my life back and able to due the things I did before He is the best Thank you Again

Dr Steck took care of my husband, Kerry for 13 years did 3 back surgeries and put a morphine pump in for him. We have so much respect for Dr Steck. He tells what needs to be done with no surprises, awesome bedside manner just an overall awesome doctor. We highly recommend Dr Steck to anyone. I wish I could review this doctor. However his staff lost my referral paperwork. I just can't see putting my health in the hands of staff that can't keep track of paperwork. Vital information is contained within a patients file and if that can't be kept in a professional manner, then I would be very concerned that something could go wrong because of "messed up paperwork" I just don't understand how that can happen.

Dr. Steck has always demonstrated great patience explaining my condition and options. My case is atypical resulting in many visits with specialist through the years, but if surgery is determined to be the best intervention, Dr. Steck will be my choice to perform the surgery.

Dr Steck does let physician fellows assist with surgery.He is right there making the decisions as a good teacher should. In my opinion it’s not the size of the incision but the end result. I think he is one of the best neurologist and New Orleans is lucky to have him.

Dr. Steck answered all of my questions, gave me a treatment plan, and got me in and out of the office in under 30 minutes. Highly recommend. I'm a physician.

Dr Steck allows the residents to perform your surgery. He performs operations the old way with huge incisions. He's one of the worst neurological surgeons in the country
