John P Slater

Dr. John Slater was my surgeon in July of 1988. I was 15 and broke my neck.. shattered C5 in a diving accident at Bass lake. I will never forget his name or face..I was a scared 15 yr old girl told I was paraplegic and I would never walk again. Now I’m a 47 yr. old wife and mother of 3 ?? I was able to walk out of the hospital when I left! Thank you Dr. slater for everything you did to help me.

Dr. Slater performed emergency brain surgery on me about 10 hours after a motorcycle accident in 1971. I had a hematoma in my frontal lobe. he found and repaired the hematoma without a cat scan or an mri. it has been 48 years since Dr. Slater saved my life and I am very thankful he was there to perform surgery on me at 2a.m. in the morning. the past 48 years have been a gift and every day I live is a gift. Dr. Slater also set my sisters neck when she broke it a car accident when she was 24.

he's a great doctor. he saved my life when I was near death 44 years ago. I had a hematoma in the frontal lobe of my brain from a motorcycle accident earlier in the day. if he hadn't met me at the hospital at 1 am to perform brain surgery I would be dead. I have nothing but positive things to say about him!!!!! I've had 44 extra years because of him. life has been a gift and I was lucky he was my doctor.
