My husband was Dr. Skibber’s patient in 2006. We arrived at MD Anderson Stage 3b colorectal cancer . I absolutely without a doubt attribute my husband being alive to the surgical skills of Dr.Skinner.
Dr. Skibber exemplifies professionalism. He has cared for my husband with so much care and empathy. Don’t get me wrong he is straight forward and no nonsense. He is amazing and I would not want any other surgeon. His years of experience, intelligence and calm yet confident demeanor keep things in perspective for me. My husband is progressing well and I have Dr. Skibber to thank.
Dr. Skibber is the best. He also has the most wonderful bedside manner along with the hospital nurses.

He is absolutely straight forward. Initial meeting when he told me all the bad outcomes that could happen with cancer surgery was hard but over the time I have been his patient, I have really come to respect him. When I am doing well, short visit. When there is something that needs to be discussed, he acts as if he has all the time in the world to answer all my questions.
