My visit was very short but I think Dr.Politz is a great doctor who knows what he is doing ????

Dr. Politz, was very nice. He did the work on my moms fistula, and we left with answers and the ability to make sure mom was taken care of after the visit.

Doctor Politz is absolutely one of the finest professionals I have ever encountered in any field. He is clearly in command of the science and latest technology in the field of vascular medicine. He is also one of the most personable people you could ever hope to encounter. For example, I just saw him after a 2 year absence (I didn't check my condition progress in 2020 due to covid), and he instantly noticed my 30 pound weight loss. How he remembered how I looked 2 years ago I don't know, but it was very flattering and personable of him to say I looked like a new man. He will spend plenty of time with you so you are fully informed regarding your condition, treatment options and recovery issues. If there is a better vascular surgeon out there I would be surprised. As it happens, my issue is potentially serious, but it is not yet emergent. Despite the potential for serious issues, I have never been less worried about an impending surgical procedure. If anyone reading this has an issue requiring a vascular surgeon and has any choice in their doctor, do yourself a favor and go to Dr. Politz first. ===================== Since the above post Dr. Politz performed the expected surgery to correct my condition. There was a small complication from the procedure, but I was fine and he and his associate showed great care, each visiting me in the hospital multiple times to check my recovery process.

The doctor seems very knowledgeable about myself situation which was rather unique. After multiple surgeries, & a ruptured graft needed a fistulagram gram and he was right there when I needed him.

The staff was very polite, and took very good care of my husband. The surgeon explained everything in detail and was very polite to me. Been to this cardiovascular building several times and they ALWAYS take very good care of my husband

Dr. Politz was incredible. I was super nervous prior going into this appointment. But after talking to him I feel so much more confident and more at ease for the procedure to come. Thank you again Dr. Politz.

As always Dr Politz was professional while still friendly, He informs patient of their status in basic, direct and easily understandable terms. He listens to patient and answers questions completely and honestly without being judgemental. I have always found him to be a fine surgeon. Saved my life a couple of times. Arrived 30 min early for appointment due to light traffic from 60 miles away. Got seen within 10-15 min. for 1st of 2 appointments (ultrasound) and then almost immediately seen by Dr Politz. I was out of the office even before the time of my 2nd appointment. Now that is a well run and efficient operation. Just met with him today to discuss a very major surgery for my 23 year old daughter. He was so kind, tender, thorough, professional, and very detailed. He did an excellent job of explaining the surgical process to us. We are grateful to have him as her surgeon!

I was seen promptly at the appointment time scheduled.. the office medical assistant was great at explaining what to expect during the visit and arranging for me to see a video on my phone prior to meeting the doctor. Everything was explained clearly for the procedure by Dr Politz and afterwards his office nurse met with me to arrange the further testing that the doctor needed. Dr Politz loves what he does and is thoughtful with patients. Considering his IQ is over 160 he has remarkably good social skills. Excellent surgeon, nifty dresser and great hair. Should run for congress.

He is very thorough and takes his time to explain everything. He is assisting with my surgery and I am grateful for that! After seeing him I felt so much more comfortable know the plan of care for my surgery.

Dr. Politz was very friendly upon entering the exam room. His explanations/answers to questions were clear and concise. His overall demeanor encourages trust. Overall a great first impression!

Dr. Politz was personable and very informative. Using models and imaging films he was able to fully describe his role in my upcoming spine surgery. He put me at ease and I have 100% confidence in him regarding his role on the procedure to come. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering abdominal entry spinal surgery.

Dr. Politz is by far the most direct doctor I have had the pleasure of receiving care from. His sutures are beautiful, and he us very mindful of body mods, and tattoos. I have the utmost respect for him, and would recommend him to anyone! He truly enjoys his work, and over all really cares about his patients.

Polite,on time

Dr Politz was very good at explaining what his part in my husband’s surgery would be. Very thorough and he used video and graphics to explain the procedure. It was a great visit.

Dynamic doctor who takes control and made me feel secure. He obviously cares about his patients, wonderful bedside manner and a great surgeon.

I had two surgeons for my procedure. Both were major players. Dr. Politz was the only one who saw me pre-op, inta-op and post-op. That's huge in my book. Doctors are busy. Surgeons cut. Everyone gets that...but taking the time to see patients at these crucial times cannot be undervalued w/respect to patients & family. Make time to visit your patients! I am still disappointed in the other surgeon ONLY because of this one factor. Dr. Politz excelled in every aspect. Go see him!!!
