If there was a lower star review I'd give it. Do not waste your time with this Dr. He cancels constantly. I was canceled several times without being seen. I've had to go to urgent care to get steroid shots to be able to walk, just to make it to my appointment that never happens. Always an excuse. Don't make the same mistake. Go to Dr P he goes above and beyond to get you in! I feel bad for his staff. They are so sweet. Must be extremely embarrassing for them.

He is a horrific doctor with no bedside manner. I had warned his staff that I had previously had an eating disorder and that weight should not be mentioned. When he finally came in there, he did not understand why me as a 24 year old was on a cane (and really should have been on a rollator) and basically perceived my condition as me faking it. He barely diagnosed me with having fibromyalgia and after my roommate hammered him, he gave a prescription for a temporary handicap placard. Otherwise, the whole visit consisted of him berating me on my weight. No medicine was given, no physical therapy was given, just lose weight. I balled and balled and his assistant attempted to console me with no luck, I told his staff that I wouldn’t come back for another appointment. If you need a good rhemotologist though, look no further than Dr. Vasandani. He listened to me, took his time with diagnosing me, and even when at first tests didn’t fully show clearly, he reassured that he believed me and the pain I was going through. I finally got a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis along with having fibromyalgia, and I finally got the PT and medications to treat this condition where I generally function like a normal human. If I’d of stayed with Dr. Pixley, I would have been treated as an over dramatic 24 year old. The man really should just retire and spare any client any more pain with his behavior. Dr. Pixley has absolutely no bedside manner. He is rude and degrading and has obviously never lived a day with severe joint pain. He is unkind and didn’t even spend more than 5 minutes in the room with me after making me wait for over an hour before he judged that I don’t have what I was diagnosed with 7 years ago but I just need to exercise and lose weight. Well, not certain it's a very good facility to go to. Not much much help for someone in chronic pain.
