John Anthony Panuto

Dr. Panuto was rude, does not listen to you. He seems to already have an idea of what is going on with you without even taking the time to listen to you or run any proper tests. He's too busy listening to himself. I will never go to his office again.

BEST MD you will ever find. He is a true patients Dr. He doesn't report to a CFO at University or The Clinic. This guy does whats best for the patient and would never do unnecessary testing. Guy changed my life with Asthma and Allergies !

What an absolute fraud. Dr. Panuto will charge you an arm and a leg even with insurance for treatment of your asthma or allergies. Do not go to him unless you like paying a lotttttt of money for nothing. Please google this guy too and read the first few headlines before you make an appointment with him. Rude staff as well.

Dr. Panuto has been helping me with my allergies for years. He is smart, kind and has genuine concern for his patients. He helped me get the correct treatment and is available to get me scheduled in a timely manner when I have problems managing my allergies. I would seriously not recommend this doctor for any type of asthma management. The staff performing pulmonary function testing is questionable. My 4 year old son at the time was on the highest does of Advair with still having daily symptoms. The doctor also prescribed a adult dosage of allergy relief medicine causing my son heart problems. When I called the doctor he acted like he didn’t care. I wised up and sent my son to a pulmonologist which turned his life around for the better. I would also question some of his examination methods. When I told the pulmonologist about them they were stunned. I am a registered respiratory therapist so asthma management is also my job and I take it seriously I would seriously not recommend this doctor for any type of asthma management. Do not go to this doctor! His staff is rude and not helpful. I was prescribed a medication that ended up being $250 with insurance. I called and asked for a new medication that was cheaper, but after being prescribed it I realized it had an ingredient I was allergic to. I called again and asked for Dr. Panuto to prescribe me a new medication. I was told I need to call my insurance and ask medication was covered under my insurance and also did not contain the ingredient I was allergic to. Now, have you ever heard of a doctor telling you to research your own medications? I spent hours on the phone with my insurance asking about medications without the ingredient and could not even be told the cost of most of them without prior authorization. This would have been made easier for me if the doctor could have just given me this information. I have now switched to a different allergist and called Dr. Panuto’s office to have my test results sent. I told the woman on the phone to please call me when they faxed the records. I called the new doctors office 2 weeks later and asked to make sure they had the results and to my surprise, they had never received the fax. I called Dr. Panuto’s office again and asked why they had not been sent and the woman told me I needed to have a records release form before they could send the forms. Diagnosed my problem on first visit...after I had been to other (2) allergists/dermatologists!! What a relief!! He was professional while being friendly.

I have four kids so have seen my share of doctos, but Dr. Panuto is hands down the best doctor we have ever had. Treats myself, daughter and elderly mother for allergies and asthma with great knowledge and care!

Dr Panuto was recommended to me by Dr Howard Swartz in the 1980s. Dr Panuto has been my allergist ever since. He is an amazing Dr and will treat you and find the issue. He is a super professional physician.

Dr. Panuto is an amazing doctor. He explained everything thoroughly. My five year old was very nervous and Dr. Panuto’s wonderful bedside manner put him right at ease. His staff is super efficient and very friendly too. I would definitely recommend him!!!

Refused to give me a list of my allergies. Shouldn’t I as a Patient have every right to have a copy of my allergies? Office staff seems very rude.

Dr. Panuto was very cold and rude. I requested certain things to be tested on my child based on her reactions when eating them. He sarcastically said to me, "so you are a doctor now?" I was taken back and just let it go then when he tested her and found that ALL of the items I requested cane back as a positive reaction to the allergen. He gave me the results on paper in passing and said "well guess you were right. Take these foods out other diet and she'll feel better." No education, no further information or recommendations. Just very abrupt probably because his ego was burned that I was right. Will never go back and DO NOT recommend him or his staff. Overall experience was poor. Dr. Panuto was very cold and rude. Dr and staff were good... But nobody at the front desk told me about the possible associated costs. Got a bill for $520, tried to take it up with my insurance company (Anthem) and they said I should have been informed of the possible costs beforehand. Had I known this was the cost, I wouldn't have scheduled the allergy test. Be sure to ask about the possible costs before you make an appointment for any procedures. Dr Panuto is absolutely Amazing, he figured out things with two of my Girls that couldn’t be diagnosed by their Primary.

Most thorough and caring doctor I've ever met! Dr. Panuto truly takes him time to listen and answer any questions you have, so he can help you with any concerns.

After dealing with skin concerns for the greater part of my adult life, I decided to go to an allergist instead of seeing my family physician. Dr. Panuto came highly recommended so I made an appointment. I am a nurse and I am very picky about my providers. I got to the office about 15 minutes early and they took me right back. Dr. Panuto actually came into the exam room BEFORE my scheduled appointment time. Looked at the rashes that I had and in 2 minutes told me what it was. We chatted about treatment options and I was on my merry way. He made it very clear that he was not in the business of wasting my time or my money... Being a federal employee with federal health benefits, doctors tend to take advantage of that and order tons of unnecessary tests and bill the insurance. I filled the prescription, and followed his directions. The rash that I have had since July was GONE almost over night. And for the first time in a long time, I slept through the night without waking up itching. I am very thankful that I came across him and I HIGHLY recommend him. after going to the ER twice and I don't know how many doctors for my lips randomly swelling up like a balloon and no one helping me at all I was told to go see him. He looked at me told me exactly what was wrong and I never had the problem ever again!!! Thank you. p.s. he got me in within the hour

Dr. Panuto is awesome! He explains everything and takes the time to answer every question you have. He makes you feel comfortable; he is one of the best doctors I have seen and I'm so thankful I found him.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the level of care Dr. Panuto offered for our daughter this week. We've battled with her eczema for 15 months and with his guidance cleared it up in less than a week. His treatment and testing recommendations were conservative, yet appropriate. The wait was average, but we didn't feel rushed in our appointment (meaning he takes time to listen, thus falling a bit behind). We are grateful for his guidance and will refer friends and family his way.

Dr. Panuto took the time to explain the complexity of the reaction I was experiencing and made sure that I understood the next steps of the plan of care. No question was left unanswered, nor did I ever feel stupid for asking the questions I did or for not understanding something. He made me feel like I was a patient of his for years, and that is rare to find these days especially in specialties. Very thankful, and I highly recommend him.
