I so hate this Dr. He caused my Mom's death only 3 months after she had a Gallbladder surgery she passed away ???? ???? She had got blood clots 3 days after her surgery & was also internally bleeding. He said she must of picked up something heavy in which she never did that. Dr. Ofranos is an awesome doctor, but DHR is a SCAM. They charged us an extra $2,000 after we paid the doctor in full. My mom has always been a strong, active woman. She walked daily, worked in the garden and did all her own house cleaning. Dr. Orfanos had done previous procedures on her veins due to potential clotting and did a great job. My mom was confident that the final procedure would be successful as well. Sad to say, it was not! He left both her feet with painful veins that have never healed. The veins that he "worked on" are now in worse condition! My mom can no longer walk or garden. Needless to say, we will never go back. My mom specifically asked him " Why are there so many veins in my feet area when I never had them before?" He answered "I will take care of those afterwards". Afterwards, he changed his tune and had the gall to tell my mom...."Well...youll need to talk to front desk as this procedure is considered ' cosmetic'". My mom answered " But YOU KNOW it's not. Three months ago i had a gallbladder removal i was so scared to get this procedure never been on surgery but a csection but everything was so fast with doctor orfanos was a really good surgeon i felt i went in and out ...i recommend him and the waiting proves he a great doctor surgeon anywherw u go there always a waiting time even u have appointments for people that give there opinions on the waiting!! I was 16 when Dr. Orfanos first became my surgon. I was scared and he helped calm my fears and assured me everything would be fine. He explained everything in detail to my mom and I how the procedure would be performed. He has since performed 3 other surgeries on me. I trust him very well. He and the staff were friendly to us every doctor's visit. They became like family to me.
