Dr. John Wesley Munz

Dr. Munz is Incredible! He saved my son’s life and his leg. We were so upset after his work injury and Cody was in extreme pain after going into shock in lifeflight. We were so uncertain when he was wheeled off for his first surgery. Dr. Munz used his God given talent to save my son. He is not only a remarkable surgeon but also has great bedside manner. After surgery, he came out being so kind and explained all so well - even drawing diagrams so that we could better understand his injuries. I was not worried during the next 3 surgeries as I knew my son was safe under the care of Dr. Munz. His staff over the last 3 months have been excellent. We are always in and out of his office in 30 minutes and that includes time with X-rays being taken. Dr. Munz and his team are THE BEST in the world and we owe them at the very least a 5 star.

From the time of my husband’s consultation to post surgery, Dr.Munz exhibited warmth and genuine concern as he explained procedures and aftercare. It is clear that he loves people as much as his medical expertise.

I have never written a review, but decided Dr Munz was worth writing a review. His orthopedic surgery skills are nothing but perfect and he has the best bed side manner. I had a serious ankle injury and was brought to Hermann Memorial med ctr ER and had to have 2 surgeries. I am so happy Dr Munz was the ortho on call. My recovery has been great and hardly see the scars. Office visits are quick; in and out in less then 30 minutes. All his office staff are professional and courteous. Best Doctor ever

Dr Munz is an amazing doctor. Great bedside manner as well. Never wait along time to be seen. Thank you for everything.

My husband was seriously injured in a motorcycle wreck and the physician we were originally seeing wanted to amputate his leg. Doctor Munz is an incredible Orthopedic Surgeon. I had a devastating injury to my arm from an accidental gun shot wound resulting in major bone loss. Doctor Munz was able to reconstruct my arm with plates and pins, not requiring bone Graph. Six months later my arm is 100% functional. I appreciate the entire Professionalism of Doctor Munz and his Staff!

Best doctor on Earth! I broke both legs in a car accident. He not only saved my legs, I was walking in 4 month. He and his team are my heros. He is amazing!

Dr. Munz repaired my shattered patella. His time, explanation and compassion are top notch He was referred by our orthopedic. AMAZING trauma surgeon using the gifts he has, Recovery and aftercare helped my be able to use my knee pretty much back to normal .

I was in a freak accident that crushed my left foot. If this accident happened 5 years ago my foot would have been amputated it was that bad. Dr. Munz literally saved my foot I don't think any other doctor could do what he did. He knows what he is doing very intelligent and trustworthy doctor. He has seriously the best bedside manner he makes you feel not afraid of the outcome of the situation he calms you. I just can't thank him enough for all he has done for me! Truly blessed he is my doctor!

Dr. Munz has been awesome. I must admit, the first time I met him I was a little taken back because he looks too young to have the experience and reputation that proceeds him. From the start he's been candid, professional and very easy to talk about about everything. I look forward to my continued recovery under his guidance.
