Dr. John L Moseri

This man yelled at me and accused me of lying about being on pain meds under his watch… He refused to give me my medical records, his staff seem afraid of him, I do not think this guy is suitable for trauma because he caused trauma by the way he was yelling at me and dismissed me from his office.

SCAM DOCTOR!!! This doctor is not only incompetent, his office staff is, too. After waiting for an hour in a waiting room with only one other person (someone very high on drugs who kept passing out), the doctor told me repeatedly I needed to “forgive” an abusive family member (this was the first time I’d ever met this doctor), and also required me to take a drug test even though I was only there for a prescription for a basic non-narcotic antidepressant. I was INCREDIBLY uncomfortable during the entire process. The office then over billed me for my copay, which I let go because I desperately wanted to get out of there. Fast forward over a year, and I get a text message with a link to a $350 bill. I called them and they said I didn’t have insurance coverage for that time, which was a lie, and they told me they were sending it to collections. I called my insurance company, and they said this doctor didn’t bill them within the legally required time and that they were notified of this. When my insurance company called the doctor’s office while I waited on hold, someone named Joy insisted the bill was valid before the insurance company even gave them my name. My insurance company has told me how to address this legally if the doctor does send it to collections. Interesting note, the link for the $350 bill now says I owe $0. I waited 3 hours, but never saw the provider. The front-office staff is inept with regard to customer service. Even sadder, when I entered the office, I realize I'd been there a decade ago. Upon further reflection, I remembered leaving Dr. Moseri because we set in the office, twice; for 2.5 hours. Their explanations for the wait involve blaming their patients. Disturbing! Very good with children, there is a long hour wait to be seen at every appointment

Doctor was no good shows no concern or careand I have a handicapped child changed his medication after being on it for 25 years used my son is a not aguinea pig with three different kinds of medication and now my son is experiencing all kinds of mental issues I am not happy with this doctor at all

The staff was nice. The Dr seemed a bit dismissive.

This office needs to be SHUT DOWN . These people cancelled my Mentally Disabled uncles appointment for a CHRISTMAS PARTY !!!!!!! The Doc is NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER on time . When we was finally able to do a walk in we literally waited 5HOURS BEFORE BEING SEEN !!!

If there was a -1 Star I would make it shine. Made it 30 min before my appt. Have waited 2 hrs and still not called. The staff is unfriendly and careless. Patients are storming out of here and getting highly impatient due to this LONG WAIT TIME. I should have read the reviews first.

I never should have gone to this non-professional know it all doctor. I didn't do my homework on Him. I just took the referral that was given to me by Grady Hospital and my old insurance co. I have so much more to say about this man than I have time to mention. If you have an addiction, he might be great. If you are referred to him because you changed insurance, or moved from out of town and you just want to keep on track, this maybe not be the best place for you. He is not the one! Don't go!??

Dr. Moseri was seeing my mentally handicapped sister who lives in a group home in Dekalb County. He prescribes Prozac and zyprexa. The group home took her for an appointment &he refused to see her &would not refill her medications. These drugs are addicting a &will cause her to have severe withdrawal symptoms . He said he had not been paid but she has insurance. He never notified me or the group home that there was any problems. He has abandoned his patient &caused her to suffer. Unprofessional!

Reception staff is great and very personable. However, Dr.Moseri tried to diagnose me with a serious disorder 15 minutes into meeting me (and immediately push highly controversial prescriptions) ---despite a 20 year continuous history with another condition (including a less than 5 y/o diagnosis). He answered a phone call during our session (seriously?) and then began asking me questions I had already answered, so it became clear he wasn't trying to actually listen to me in any capacity. He then told me that if I wasn't interested in taking the meds and going his way, he wouldn't see me again. No problem! There are plenty of other providers in ATL and I would choose any one of them over him.
