The staff and Dr's are awesome. I couldn't ask for better care.

Dr. John Mitchell is a fabulous doctor. I had open heart surgery, where he repaired two valve and did an ablation. He was a very personalized doctor, who explained the procedure before hand. He also, was skilled and efficient as a surgeon, in carrying out what needed to b done. The results have been wonderful. I would choose him as my surgeon again.

I feel very well taken cared of . I had the best care when I was admitted in the hospital. The nurses are very nice and very approachable. Thank you also to Dr. John Michelle who has been God's instrument to give me another chance to live. I was given a second life through him. He is very understanding and very kind to me. I had a quintuple bypass and he is making sure that I get the best care while I was in the Utah Valley hospital.

I owe so much to this man. He saved my wife's life. She required open-heart surgery in order to get a benign tumor removed and I am so glad he was chosen as our surgeon. From our very first conversation to the final one, he was so caring, respectful, and empathetic to our situation, Not to mention he's a brilliant doctor! He was 100% present in his bedside manner, shared with us his personal cell phone number in case we needed anything, and really showed his love and support for our entire family, not just his patient, my wife. It couldn’t have been better he explains everything throughly. And everything has turned out extremely well with my husbands surgery.

Great doctor. Called me in my cell to encourage me to get a lung biopsy and he got me in the next day. Surgery went well and it came back cancer, but because he got me in we had time to find a clinjcal trial that is working. Thank you Dr. Mitchell!!

4 wks ago Dr.Mitchell performed open heart surgery going above and beyond to repair my aortic valve. But better than that, he's so easy to talk to. I'd highly recommend Dr.Mitchell.

He took time to explain what was going on to a alleviate all my concerns. After I left the hospital I received a call from him personally. In checking his schedule he noticed my next appointment was about 12 days away. He called to see if I would like to come in earlier so I would be able to travel back home to Arizona. Dr Mitchell is amazing. He spent a lot of time during our consultation. Answered all our questions and never made us feel rushed. My husbands surgery was very long and required much more time to fix my husband's heart. Dr Mitchell saved my husband's life. I have no doubt we made the right choice. I would recommend him to my family and friend's.

One amazing Dr! He has forever changed my life.

He saved my life may 2006. Had pulmonary embolism while recovering from triple bypass surgery. Coincidentally he happened to be on the floor at that moment. He immediately recognize the problem and thanks to him I'm still alive.

Dr Mitchell is a LIFESAVER!!!! I HAD ENDOCARDITIS and he was so nice and cared so much about me!! He explained to my family everything he did he showed my family my damaged valves and explained to me everything he did to my heart I recommend him to everyone!!!

Dr. Mitchell is not only an outstanding surgeon but has an incredible bedside manner. My daughter, husband and myself were comforted and our minds put at ease as he explained and answered all of her questions without us feeling rushed. Dr John Mitchell is by far the best doctor I have had the privilege of working with. Dr. Mitchell is everything you want to find in a heart surgeon: thorough, knowledgeable, patient, curious about your whole health and you as a person, to understand your heart in the context of you. He follows up when he says he would, he even takes care of appointments for you. He did a 12 hour open heart surgery for me, with a quadruple by-bass, an aortic valve and ascending aorta replacement, as well as cleaning my very calcified aortic arch.
