Have you ever had to walk out of a doctor's appointment? That happened today. We were late for our appointment - I say "we" because Dr. Lawall has a tendency to ignore the words that are coming out of my mouth, forget my medical history and bully me, so my husband comes along to be supportive and reassert points. We were half an hour late, but let's not get into why because the doctor certainly didn't care. He came into the office toting botox needles and looking for someone to blame, saying this must not happen again. He snapped at me and when my husband said "this is my fault, talk to me" he snapped at my husband. I can understand having a bad day or making a mistake, but this was a culmination of multiple appointments with bad behavior, including trying to get me to say treatment was helping when I did not see any evidence of that and snapping at me when I expressed anxiety about getting a couple dozen shots in the head. I am not an "I need to speak to a manager" type person, I have a pathological fear of confrontation - which is why this medical relationship went on as long as it did. He tried to bully me into saying treatment was helping when it wasn't, needed to be reminded of my medical history every time in order to remember why we were doing things he himself had recommended, and snapped at me on multiple occasions.
