I would like to start by saying Dr. LaTona is a very nice person! A YAG laser treatment by him for a very big floater turned into a very large number of big floaters. Enough floaters to dramatically obscure my vision. After many months, the floaters were still there and I got a vitrectomy from a different specialist. Great I had no idea why I was having so much trouble seeing at night but it turned out I had cataracts. I had given up driving at night completely. The procedure went smoothly and everyone was so friendly and nice. Now I just have to get use to driving without glasses!! I keep reaching for them out of habit. LOL

I made an appointment with Dr. Latona because I was having difficulty getting properly fitted for contact lens. I arrived for the appointment (after waiting a month) and was told that they tried to contact me that morning (really? no phone calls are logged on my phone; no voicemail...) to tell me Dr. Latona couldn't see me because "he doesn't do contacts". Great. Could you not have told me that a month ago when we spoke on the phone about WHY I was making this appointment?? I've never heard of an ophalmologist who did not 'do' contacts -- that's like an OBGYN doctor who doesn't 'do' pap smears.

Had cataract surgery yesterday. Dr Latona was superb. The difference in my sight in that eye is remarkable and the procedure went smooth as glass. I completely endorse and recommend Dr Latona. He and his team are fantastic.

Dr. LaTona is a very caring and concerned doctor about the health of my eyes. I cares for each patients as a special patient.

Can not pay your bill online. Sorry but this inconvenence in the year 2016 (almost 17) is like going back in time. and they will tell you "You can call us and give us your credit card info and we will take that to solve your payment requirements." ha! why let's go back in time a little futher and write a paper check, buy an envelope, a stamps, go to the nearest mailbox & drop it off, wait 2-3 days (Indianapolis) so they can recieve it. Wait another 4-5 days as they deposit it, wait for the bank

Very Compassionate and Caring Individual. Someone you can get to know and feel comfortable talking to. He is spot on with his diagnosis and treatment. He is the bests!
