Dr. John W Jung

I was referred to Dr Jung by a friend of mine about 25 years ago. Throughout the years I have had many medical issues and searched for answers from my internist, allergist and other specialists. Always coming up with no real answers, they just put me on more and more medications to mask my symptoms. Inevitably I would end up at Dr. Jung’s office, frustrated and not knowing where to turn. He always patiently listens to my concerns and then figures out what is going on. He fixes the problems; he doesn’t just mask them. This latest issue I was having was very fatigue, no energy, bad allergies, insomnia, inflammation, brain fog depression and just feeling rundown. Dr. Jung listened, evaluated, tested and then treated me by starting me on the Thrive in 45 program. I am now sleeping better, more energy, I can think clearer, not depressed & my allergies are under control. Oh, and my inflammation is down, I even went down a whole shoe size and dropped 35 pounds. Best Dr. ever!

I suffer with M.S. and Covid got me, so I have not really been feeling great like I’m used to being. I was referred to Dr. Jung by a few friends regarding adjustments and a previous knee injury that causes me pain daily. Dr. Jung is extremely knowledgeable and straight forward with his approach. Other professionals I spoke to tried pushing me towards surgery and pain killers to remedy the issue I am dealing with. Between acupuncture, exercise targeting specific muscles, and his treatment plan I am already feeling better and enjoying things I haven't been able to do in 6 months. Dr John, simply is unlike any one else around. I took supplements Jung gave me that has caused serious medical issues. Do not go to him and do not take any medications or supplements from him. Don't trust him. Find a good primary doctor or specialist. No, I do not believe your response is accurate. We did not need your help getting pregnant, nor did you help with getting pregnant. We did not talk frequently. I found the issue when I saw my primary physician and compared time frames and blood work. My wife has nothing to do with this since you do not know us, nor do we know you personally. This is not about me. The purpose is to inform others to be careful. I’ve had pain in my left knee for years, Dr. Jung fixed my knee up, quick and painless! He’s super fun to work with and the coolest guy. He’s extremely knowledgeable and educated, he can help with any issue presented to him.

I strongly disagree with the 1 star review, Dr. Jung is an AMAZING doctor. I am so thankful that I was referred to him!! At first I was a little skeptical about going to him at first, because I have been to numerous doctors and specialists over the past couple years without any relief! Most doctors ran the same unnecessary tests and just gave me pills to EASE symptoms, which ended up hurting my body even more.. The previous doctors told me my results were normal, even though I did not feel like myself. It wasn’t until I walked into Dr. Jung’s office that my life changed. After explaining my symptoms, he knew exactly what tests I needed done(none of the other doctors requested these tests) and how to treat me. After being misdiagnosed by an ENT, Oral Surgeon, and Physical Therapist, Dr. Jung was able to identify the issue that was causing me severe pain. After one visit, the pain greatly reduced and after the second visit, I currently have zero pain. I cannot thank Dr. Jung enough for solving an extremely painful situation!

I need to start from saying that before the visit with Dr. Jung I have seen so many doctors in the last 5 years that I have lost count. Dr. Jung was very quick with identifying the issue while previous "doctors" couldn't for a long time. He looks at the whole picture of your body and immediately understands how to help his patients. He clearly explains the problems and how to fix them. He is not only smart but also a wonderful person. Dr.Jung helped me with my thyroid problems. I straggled with this for over 8 years and every doctor that I went to was telling me that I have problems with my intestines, not thyroid. Some days I thought that I have depression.I was overwhelmed with what was happening to my health. I have been seeing him on an off since the early 90's and he is hands down the very best at everything he has done! His methods have done everything for me you can imagine, from rehabilitation after I broke L3 in my back to rehab on my knee after I had an injury and needed a cadaver to helping me get off of terrible medicine for my migraines that were debilitating! I recently had stem cells for bad knees and shoulder, and was able to bike in 3 days, although doc said I should have waited a bit lol ....Its great to be pain free! Anyhow his Nurse Practitioner is great, too,; the procedure was quick and easy, and a lot less painful than a lousy cortisone shot, which only gave temporary relief!

Dr. John was quickly and easily able to identify that I had an adrenal adenoma causing my fatigue, unexplained weight gain and myriad of other problems happening in my body. Traditional endocrinologists were unable to do what he did. Other health care practitioners I have come into contact with have commented about his thorough level of work and his ability to get to root cause of issues when I have told them my story. My family has seen him for over 20 years. Dr. John is incredibly smart and puts the care of all his patients as his priority. Dr. Jung's expertise is through the roof! I could not move my neck for about 5 days due to thoracic outlet syndrome and was experiencing headaches every day. One visit with him already minimized the pain and maximized my range of motion. I cannot wait to work with him some more!

All I can say is I think Dr. John is a great doctor and a great human being! He's helped many friends of mine also my family it’s amazing how he can read your body and tell you what’s wrong before you even tell him what’s going on with you. I have presented with many ailments of the last couple years. Dr. Jung has been able to either help or alleviate all my issues, from low back pain, to pinched nerve, to plantar fasciitis. He is awesome. My entire family has been treated by him.

I have been going to Dr. Jung on and off for over 25 years. Wow 25 years. I guess you can say he’s a great Dr. Very friendly but also very professional. I love how he explains everything he’s doing. No surprises. I never have a problem getting an appointment and I never have to wait more then 5-10 minutes to see him. If it is going to be longer he will have me do something else first like having my neck massaged by this little machine.

Had an issue with my neck that sent me to many different doctors. I was referred to Dr. Jung by a work colleague and he was able to diagnose my issue and fix it in one treatment. He was able to point out that my neck was not actually the issue and it was some misaligned ribs and vertebrae. The staff was excellent and I know where I will be going from now on.

As a back injury patient with over a dozen surgeries in the past 8 years, I can honestly say Dr. Jung has done more for my pain reduction then all of the invasive procedures and medications combined. His therapeutic staff are experts in the art and science of healing.

My experience with Dr. John W. Jung was one of the best interactions I've ever had with a health care professional in my life. I've been lifting weights for 42 years; I'm 55 now. Over those 42 years I've spoken at length with hundreds of other weight lifters. I've also had some physical and metabolic problems over my lifting career that had to be treated by Medical Doctors(MDs). I've never been totally satisfied with the treatment the MDs prescribed. That ended when I spoke with Dr. Jung. No lifter or MD I saw before Dr. Jung could even come close to his level of knowledge regarding health care. Dr. Jung has to be a genius; there is no other explanation for the volume of knowledge he possess. I have been having some metabolic problems and feared that my lifting days were over. I was floored when Dr. Jung diagnosed correctly what was wrong with me without seeing me, but based solely on my description of my symptoms. Further Dr. Jung suggested a small list of homeopathic compounds and a rehabilitative routine to get me back in the groove. I'm back lifting ONLY because Dr. Jung cared enough to offer me help. He suggested I get a specific blood test done. I had it done and gave Dr. Jung the results. He had already divined what my problem was, and had a restorative program ready for me. There is no better doctor in Chicago Land than Dr. John Jung !!! I had known Dr. Jung for over 10 years and anytime I have sports injury or any other muscle or joint pain I go to see him because no one else understands my problems like Dr. Jung...Dr. Jung is AWESOME!!! 13 years ago I had knee trauma from playing soccer and spent 2.5 years in visiting multiple doctors including bone & joint institute and other joint specialists. Did x-rays, MRIs and nobody could determine why my knee was week and in pain...I was disgusted with level of knowledge and doctors I was seeing. It seemed that all they wanted is to milk money while not caring about my pain. Dr. Jung is a brilliant diagnostician. He can always get my difficult areas to adjust. He has been instrumental in my family's health care since we discovered him over a year ago. His staff is friendly and accommodating.
