Se. Hochman and his secretary Nami are great always a great help with all me and my wife’s needs and always work with our needs and are kind and helpful! You can’t go wrong with Dr.Hochman.. also has many years of experience and is very considerate And patient with all his patients !

IS THIS DOCTOR A JOKE?! Why would anyone work as a psychiatrist when he is unable to hear what the patient is saying? He looks like 80 years old, way past the retirement age. If he insisted on working, at least wear some hearing aids. The doctor was rude, unprofessional, and insensitive. The whole he was trying slowly on his computer avoiding eye contact and then he also couldn't remember what I said. The session was very unproductive and he was joking around about things that had nothing to do with my illness. He was making racist remarks and the environment was very hostile. He asked me to fill out a long form and said the intake would help the session by telling him some basic information about me. When the session started, he clearly didn't see the intake I filled out and I had to read him what I wrote when he could have read it himself. What's hard to believe is that he barely asked me anything about my disability and spent most of the time joking around about things that didn't matter. Then he declined my disability claim and stated that there is nothing wrong with me. When he asked me the treatment I've received, he acted like he's never heard about the treatment and the medication before. My treatment is very common. I don't understand how he could be so outdated and incompetent and is still practicing as a psychiatrist. The most unbelievable thing is: he couldn't hear what I was saying so he walked away to grab his cellphone to record the conversation without asking me if it's ok to record. I didn't give him consent to do so yet he continued to record. This doctor clearly doesn't understand what confidentiality means. He should retire or go to jail.

RUDE, IGNORANT

Went in waited 30 mins even tho I was the only patient. During our "talk" he on the phone with other patients. Then after all this he looks at my paper work then proceeds to tell me to go get help somewhere else. Time wasted and money gone.

Completely wasted my time and wasn’t even slightly apologetic about it. 0/10. He was on the phone well into my appointment and then told me he couldn’t help me. What kind of operation is this?

Iv'e been seeing Dr . Hochman for over 2 yrs, He has helped me out with many of my "issue's." keep rocking Dr Hochman.

If I could give negative stars, this one would definitely get it. Please don't waste your time or money with this guy. Would question his degree and credentials.

I can't say enough good things about this doctor. He really listens, very accurately diagnoses, and is very professional. His staff is warm and courteous and his office is clean and quiet. There is also plenty of free parking one block away.

There is a reason he is accepting new patients. He has no common courtesy, says "huh" instead of excuse me when he can't hear you, spends half the appointment in silence on the computer, and judges instead of offering counseling. I tried to talk to him about my mothers death, my abusive childhood, and my history of depression and cutting, all he did was shame me for smoking weed. When you are ready to get help for your issues you don't need to be shut down by the person you asked to help.
