Dr. John Michael Hemphill

The staff along with Dr. Hemphill were absolutely the best, they were compassionate and knowledgeable. I could not be any happier!

I used to see him. I have MS. He needs to retire ASAP. His office was just flat closed during covid leaving me out on a limb. He is easily in his 70’s. He was nice, but he is like and old Packard. It was beautifully engineered but how reliable is it now? Same for him. His infusion clinic is dirty, old and cramped. His nurses hid in another room. They turned out the lights even. It was terrible. DOES ANYONE KNOW A NEUROLOGIST IN THIS AREA THAT SPECIALIZES IN MS WHO IS IN THEIR PRIME? I had excellent care in California from the MS Center at UCSF. Atlanta has a real MS Center, why doesn’t Savannah? I am SO UNIMPRESSED WITH MY MEDICAL CARE HERE. I don’t drive anymore and have numerous MS issues that the doctors here do very little about. I think they believe that I am lying to them. I believe they have old ideas and help few with MS. I am tired of their backward ways. I need real help.

The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and took time listening to what issues my daughter was experiencing. He explained everything in an easy to understand manner and even recommended additional literature on my daughter's condition. I was impressed. The entire staff was professional and friendly.

dr. Hemphill could not answer my questions had very little knowledge or my condition though he stated he was local expert. I do notice that he does an awful lot of speaking at drug company dinners so I wonder how much of his time is actually dedicated to his patients. The office staff is demeaning with very little knowledge or professionalism. The wait time was horrendous not only in the waiting room but once you got back to an examining room

I trust Dr. Hemphill's medical decisions, he was extremely helpful in answering all the questions I had. I did not have to wait any longer than usual at other practices. He was able to direct me along the right path for treatment. I never had to worry about being mistreated or lost in the system.
