Dr. Duncan is an extremely caring, conscientious, thorough doctor who takes as much time as necessary to care for and talk to his patients.

Dr. Duncan has been treating me for years since my blood pressure got to 262 over 143 and i had a heart attack and thats when they found i had congestive heart failure and Dr. Duncan Worked With Me For Several Months to get my blood pressure normal and if he could be my primary care Dr, I would.

I have been a patient at HeartPlace and Dr. Duncan (no relation) for years, the reason for that is because everyone there are the best. They are the reason I am here today and able to tell my story.

The other review talks about him saving her mom's life. My grandpa (who had a massive heart attack back in the day) had a very different experience. Dr D inherited him from a previous cardiologist and not once in 10 years did he even question the lineup of pills the previous doc had him on. Also didn't do something as simple as an EKG at ANY POINT FOR 10 YEARS. Also has no problem cutting you off mid sentence to go reply to a text. Whatever this guy makes is too much. Not quite as safe as I had hoped. Good, but not best. While my guideline has been 6 feet distance even with a mask, the rule you have seems to be: if you have a mask on you can just interact as usual, and get pretty close. I was told to come up to the lobby window within 2 feet of another incoming patient. That's not good enough. Dr. was very good, willing to listen and answer all my questions well. Dr. John W. Duncan and the entire staff is fantastic. I highly recommend HeartPlace Plano.

Thanks to Dr. Duncan I feel safe working out again. Stress test was not stressful at all!
