Poor bedside manner since day one. When I seen him for my yearly last year and told him I was planning to get bypass surgery he said good but within a year after surgery I would gain weight back. Since November Ou has asked for a letter from him saying it ok to have surgery and what my Ou team needs to be aware of when they do surgery. It's now March 28th and still can't get him to do the letter. I'm at my minds end with him and his staff because they are the last thing I need done other then losing this last few pounds and getting my a1c under control. Please stop slow playing and do ur job as my doctor and be there like I need u to be.

Told me I did not have my illness and throw away my medication. Couldn’t access my records or anything.

If I could give zero stars I would. My mother who began seeing him about 3 years ago now did nothing for her. She was 70+ years old and he treated her like a patient who was going to die anyway so why even bother. She initially went in as her lungs were keeping her from breathing normally after having a bout of bronchitis, He later determined she had fibromyalgia of the lungs of some sort. 3 years later, a lung doctor in OKC at OU Medical has determined she has a fungus at the lower left of her lung which he discovered after a simple bronchoscopy. For 3 long years my mother has been suffering. Struggling to get a breath when she stands or walk or exert any energy. Dr. Cox did nothing for her. She wasted her time because he is the only lung doctor in Lawton. Treated her like she was on her death bed when all she needed was a simple antifungal medication. Lazy and pompous is how I would describe him and would never recommend anyone to his office. If I could give zero stars I would. I have confidence in Dr Cox , has care for my first and know my prresent husband, he understand the patient needs and family

Dr cox is probably the best Dr I have ever seen. He actually sat down for over an hour and talked with me and genuinely cares, I recommend him to anyone.
