Trying to get a hold of Dr Birchfield and Verizon says it’s no longer in service. Please advise

From Teresa at the from desk to Dr. Birchfield's kind manner, the whole experience and environment is calm and relaxing. So much so I started falling asleep during a root canal. I highly recommend this office just as I was recommended here from dentist school. That says a lot.

The best in all of Tampa Bay. Wouldn't go to anyone else for a root canal.

Dr Birchfield did a root canal for me yesterday. You can not ask for a more hands on and noligable individual.Very very engaged doctor that explain the whole procedure.while he is working. Excelleny staff and Excellent Doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Birchfield!!

I came in for a root canal and had a fantastic, pain-free experience. Dr. Birchfield has a tremendous amount of focus and attention to the patient’s status, the importance of which cannot be underemphasized for root canals. The area around my tooth was made incredibly numb and I felt nothing throughout the entire procedure. Dr.Birchfield is the best. Went in because my front tooth had a big chip and for years couldn't stand facing my self in the mirror also people would look down at because of this now that it's fixed feel like a new person. Have been coming here for years and would not trust anyone else with the care of my teeth. The injections are painless and it’s obvious that Dr. Birchfield cares about your comfort level throughout the procedure. Doctors like this are hard to find. I’ve had some of his work In my mouth for over 20 years.

I cant even express how much I love and how AMAZING Dr Birchfield is. Not just does he do beyond excellent work, he is SO kind and caring and makes anyone with anxiety literally fall into a complete calm. He's super gentle, knows exactly what hes doing, beyond educated about his work, and treats you like a person and not some patient you have to get in and out of the door. I'm so sad that I cant go to him like a regular every day dentist because hes the only person I feel complete comfort and full trust with. My visit was for a root canal procedure but I think this was one of the best dental appointments I ever had!!! Dr Birchfield keeps you informed through the process and made me feel extremely comfortable and all the staff members were so kind. After the procedure, I've felt no pain at all. Best EVER!!! I moved here from NY and needed 2 root canals and crown lengthening. I was honestly so nervous about my appointment and viewed reviews for this dentist and decided to go with Dr Birchfield based on the outstanding reviews. I am SO glad I did. I would highly recommend this office and dentist!!! The entire appointment he provided comfort before I asked for it and guided me throughout the whole procedure. The office is well organized and the staff is super friendly! You do not feel like a number. He only needed to perform one root canal and minimal crown lengthening. He was so informative and his technique was gentle that the next day my pain was so manageable I was able to work and only take Advil. Best EVER!!! I hope he takes care of his patients more then the tenants he rents to. he rented me a townhome that was in forclosure for 3 years. I'm only here 6 months to find out the bank owns it and it's been auctioned off to new owners. he blamed marketplace tampa llc saying he never received my payments.. marketplace Tampa blames him.. turns out hes on the board of directors for marketplace tampa.. such a great way to treat a single parent.. and right before the holidays... shame on you I hope this saves someone somehow from alot of stress .. I wasnt so lucky. marketplace tampa pretty much laughed at me saying they werent breaking any of florida laws... I guess they have no compassion for human kind.. if he can rip a single mom off with a living situation I'm sure his dental practices are in some way misleading as well. Dr Birchfield is gentle and a great guy. Unfortunately for me, I’ve been in his chair several times. He’s never hurt me and I trust him. Once he told me I didn’t need a root canal and sent me off with no charge.

Doctor Birchfield is one of those truly rare finds these days! Dr. Birchfield is a true "old school" professional who clearly tells you what your individual situation is, in clear and plain English, and then gives you all the courses of action available to his patient and finally, he gives you his recommendations on what he believes is the best course of action based on the discussion with you and after answering any questions you may have or clarifying any doubts you may have. He takes his time with his patients. Dr. Birchfield takes his time, and it is very clear that he has his patient's best interest in mind. He genuinely cares and wants to help his patients. I was referred to Dr. Birchfield from my regular dentist. I am a former active duty, special operations member who was retired from the service because of combat service related injuries. During a previous deployment to Kabul, Afghanistan, I happened to be close enough to a car bombing that the concussion from the explosion cracked a couple of my teeth. It was ultimately the reason I was referred to Dr. Birchfield for care. I am not one to see a dentist, mainly due to a previous painful situation invloving the removal of my wisdom teeth when I was a young adolescent. The dentist at that time ended up leaving me with lifelong sensitivity and nerve damage from the rear to the front of my tongue! It was a very traumatic experience, so my question to Dr. Birchfield after he explained my situation which would require a root canal and a crown for one of the cracked teeth, was if I could go back to Afghanistan instead? Dr. Birchfield grinned, then promised me that he would ensure that I would not be in pain during the procedure and that he would be very careful and proceed slowly so that if I had any pain, he would address the situation so that I would not suffer. He promised me that he would take very good care of me, because he believes in taking care of his patients and would never want them to suffer needlessly. Dr. Birchfield did exactly that! I am sure that I looked rather silly to Dr. Birchfield. A 23 year special operations veteran, accustomed to a good level of pain, likely much higher than most other people, after having gone through several previous cases of documented injuries - I must have looked absolutely silly, not wanting to see Dr. Birchfield and undergo a relatively routine procedure. Dr Birchfield was the consummate professional though! He took all the time I needed to reassure me that I would be his number one concern and that my care and comfort was truly important to him. True to his word, Dr. Birchfield completed the procedures I needed to have done! Aside from the inevitable and impossible situation of avoiding the initial stick of the needle when he administered the local anesthesia, I felt absolutely no pain and was absolutely comfortable for the entire procedure! Dr. Birchfield explained every step of the procedure as he went from one step to the next to get my care done, and as he proceeded, he consistently asked how I was feeling. It was very evident by the level of attention Dr. Birchfield gave me when reviewing my case at my initial appointment, by the level of care I received on the day of the procedure, and in the follow up call I received from Dr. Birchfield 's secretary, that Dr. Birchfield is one of the very few remaining physicians today who is genuinely interested in patient care, and not treating each person as a number and fitting as many patients on the calendar as his lovely secretary could fit into a day, to ensure he has a fat bank account! I would not hesitate in the least to recommend Dr. Birchfield as a provider to anyone - even to my own family members. I will definitely contact him if I should ever require further care in the future! You can go to another dentist, or you can go to one of the very best, and contact Dr. Birchfield! Dr. Birchfield is great! unfortunately, I have needed more than one root canal, but he is absolutely great. Makes a difficult experience as quick as possible and I didn’t have any pain. I have recommended him to several friends.

Terrified from a prior root canal gone bad, I arrived at Dr. Birchfield's office. His assistant put me at ease as she took x-rays & assured me it wouldn't be bad. I can honestly say I felt NO PAIN, not for the shots, the procedure, or afterwards! I went to play bingo that night. 2 thumbs up from me.

Did not know quite what to expect. My husband had told me that this doctor/endodontist was good. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Absolutely no pain. If you need a root canal, Dr. Birchfield is hands down the best Endadontist in Tampa. I had three root canals done by him. He knows what he is doing so you heal faster and with less pain and discomfort.
