I couldn’t thank him enough. At 22 weeks I went to L&D over bleeding and intense contractions that were said to be caused by a UTI by my provider. I was so tired of hearing the mixed diagnosis’s but Dr Barton preformed an ultrasound and figured out the real issue with minutes (placental abruption). He was able to get my contractions to stop as well as the bleeding and I just couldn’t thank him enough for saving my baby. You are in great hands with him and I wish I could only see him. I’m on pregnancy number 3 with Dr. Barton and wouldn’t want anyone else. He explains everything very well and helps you plan for what could happen. He takes the utmost precautions with the babies and the mother. And he will face any obstacles head on.

Lacking bedside manner, compassion, sympathy and empathy. I was told a plethora of things were wrong with my baby before these things were even supposed to happen in utero. He made us worry for absolutely no reason. I was treated as if this was just an ordinary, common day for him. If you’re looking for a caring doctor, steer clear.

I highly recommend Dr. Barton. I’m very pleased with the excellent care he has provided to me and my unborn baby. He is extremely knowledgeable and I trust him completely. He is also very nice to talk to. Staff is very friendly as well. I’m lucky I am in his care.

I like how the staff are so heart warming and dr. Barton always takes his time to guide me through what's happening this week of my baby's development and also takes the time to tell me everything looks good :) he's an awesome dr.

Dr. Barton is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. He made me feeling comfortable and at ease with everything we went over. I would recommend him to anyone needing to see a maternal fetal medicine doctor.

Dr. Barton is an extremely knowledgeable perinatologist. As a nurse who has worked beside him and as his patient, I can honestly say that I trust his judgement whole heartedly. Not only does he care about his patients, but he also takes the time to educate the nurses on the Labor and Delivery unit.
