Dr. Anderson was excellent. I had a Achilles rupture which he repaired I was very nervous about he pain and I can say after two weeks I am feeling very minor pain.

I found Dr. Anderson kind, caring, and knowledgeable. After having toe fusions and gastroc lengthening on both feet and legs, the surgery outcome was pain relief. I would highly recommend Dr. Anderson as a physician and surgeon.

I went in with a splint and came out in an air cast. He was very nice and full of helpful information. He was patient and didn’t seem in a rush although I’m sure he had lots of patients waiting for him!! I highly recommend him!!

I met with Dr. Anderson regarding an issue with my right foot. What impressed me the most was his listening skills. I feel that he is treating me, not just my foot. After an examination and a few questions, we decided on a treatment and moved forward. The staff was also very thorough and professional. I left with all of my questions answered.

Dr. Anderson took care of an old injury and surgery that I had 20 years ago for a broken bone in my ankle. Dr. Anderson had great bedside manner and seemed very knowledgeable. He did a great job and removed the old hardware from the ankle and it feels better than before. Outstanding job!

Have had over 40 surgeries b4 meeting Dr. A, He seems very knowledgeable and professional. Have surgery scheduled next month with high hopes as have had some horrible experience’s in the Deep South. Dr. A seems to be the man for the job as have spent nearly a decade looking for the right doc to fix my non existent ankle with an artificial one. Will review again once surgery is done. Seems like the man for the job.

Very friendly and willing to fix my problem with my foot

I'm walking on two feet quite comfortably, long after I feared I'd be stuck in a chair. Innovative treatment, superior care.

Got no answers

Dr Anderson is very professional and personable. However, a typical office focused on time and money. Outside of my initial visit, I am making, so far, two trips to establish FMLA paperwork, at which I am also paying a fee to OAM for paperwork filing. At this point, my satisfaction is below par.

It just goes to show getting a second opinion is always necessary Dr John Anderson within 2 minutes made me feel way more comfortable with his bedside manner and his confidence in the surgery then the first orthopedic surgeon that I talk to I wish I could mention her name but I won't, her arrogance and terrible rush rush bedside manner made me even have more questions, after speaking with Dr Anderson for 2 minutes I was way more relieved to have the surgery way more confident to have the surgery, thank you Mr Anderson and we'll see you in the fall

Met for my initial consultation with Dr. Anderson. What a great visit. Well worth our 3 hour drive and 1 hour wait. He answered all our questions and was very patient with us. He was very clear and understanding although it was not the answers we wanted to hear exactly... but he was honest and fair and took time to listen to us. Thanks again. A Great facility and staff.

Dr.John Anderson receives five stars! Excellent, professional, kind. I recently received ankle surgery on October 31,2022 As of December 29, 2022 I am walking without crutches, or cane or scooter! I also have absolutely no pain! Currently, started PT. I would highly recommend Dr, John Anderson if anyone requires foot or ankle surgery!

He makes you feel comfortable and is knowledgeable. He takes as much time with you as needed. His explanations to you are in a manner you can understand.

He thinks a lot of himself. Had hip surgery on my right hip in 2017. Went back to see him because of the pain I was having in my leg. So many people could tell that I walked with a limp. He quickly checked my hips by placing his hands on my hips while I was standing and said they were even, but since that visit when I sit my right leg is shorter than my left. I didn't notice at first until my regular physician noticed it when I sat on his exam table. His nurse even commented about how much more my left knee stuck out. I would not go back.

Had foot surgery - excellent surgical results- highly recommend Dr. John Anderson. Great bedside manner- explains everything.

Dr Anderson listened to me. He gave options for treatment and worked with my needs and schedule. I look forward to my next visit to evaluate our current plan and consider further treatment.

As usual I am impressed. The wait time was minimal. Dr Anderson really knows what he is doing. He confirmed his previous diagnosis and recommended surgery. The surgery was scheduled while we were there and we had major input on the timing. I am extremely pleased.

Dr. Anderson is very laid back and calm. He is professional and thorough. We discussed my injury, he advised as to how I should proceed in order to properly and safely heal. I highly recommend him.

Excellent mobility outcomes are his focus. Thorough, patient treatment is the standard.

I just recently severely dislocated my ankle, with 2 major breaks at the bottom of the ankle and a break of my fibia near my knee all in my right leg. About 10 years ago Dr. Anderson was my surgeon for a separate surgery to reattach tendons in my arm and remove a bone spur and he was AMAZING, but 10 years ago you couldn’t leave reviews like this now. All I can say is that I’m very thankful he’s still in this business and is my surgeon once again and this time around for an especially serious situation.

Dr. John G. Anderson MD is amazing… After going through four unsuccessful surgeries with another doctor on my right foot, Dr. Anderson knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the problems I was having. He performed surgery on me in November 2021 and my foot is finally pain free as a result of Dr. Anderson’s expertise. It was well worth the 3 hour drive from Charlevoix to have Dr. Anderson do the surgery and after care on my right foot. I am very grateful to Dr. Anderson and would highly recommend him to anyone. Not only is Dr. Anderson a brilliant surgeon, he’s also a very pleasant doctor to have take care of me.

I arrived at Oam approximately 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. The check in process went very smooth. I spent very little time in the waiting room before being x-rayed. After x-rays were taken I was ushered into a examination room where I met with Dr. Anderson. After reviewing my x-rays and a hands-on examination he determined that a surgical procedure was necessary to eliminate my pain and return me back to a normal lifestyle pain-free. I left the examination room with a sense of confidence in Dr. Anderson and scheduled the needed surgical procedure as soon as possible. I have lived with this chronic pain, sometimes debilitating, for many years and I am happy to finally have some hope.

Dr Anderson genuinely cares about/for his patients. I'm very pleased with my foot reconstruction. Whe I met him the very 1st time, I knew I was in "good hands". Dr Anderson also has a top notch team around him.

I trust him Totally! He has done a unbelievable job of recreating my feet. They are not perfect but I am so very excited to be totally finished with Treatment! I find him gentle and encouraging.

Had bunion surgery and Dr Anderson prepared me honestly about a long recovery time. He answered all my questions in a non rushed manor. My reconstructed foot healed well and is much improved even part way through my recovery. He is a very good teacher wanting to give his patients as much information as possible to help them make an informed decision.

Dr. Anderson is not only caring, but his years of experience make him the best foot dr in not only West MI, but likely all of Michigan. He listens and explains very thoroughly. I trust no one else with my feet!

Dr. Anderson was fine, but good luck getting anything done with the office people. They are understaffed and overworked (or just bad, not sure). They don't return calls for a month or more. I'd go somewhere else unless you have no other choice.

He is wonderful. He diagnosed my foot in two minutes. I had been to see 5 other physicians for this matter. He diagnosed immediately. Did surgery. No pain ever. It’s perfect now!!!

John Anderson is a first rate, no nonsense orthopedic.

Well informed before and upon arrival. Gracious staff throughout the process, check-in to check-out. Dr. Anderson was informative, calming, and provided simple understandable facts that were comforting. This being my first surgery, other than dental work, my nerves were a bit worked up. However, by the time I was wheeled for the procedure I knew/felt I was in the good ‘hands’. If you are lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Anderson for a procedure, go ahead a take that breath of relief. 110% Recommended. Thank You Dr. Anderson and Team
