My employer sends me to Dr. Amentler for DOT physicals and I have had several over the years from this provider. Always friendly and fair, does a routine DOT physical and reviews any conditions. Not much to say, it’s not brain surgery or interventional cardiology, it’s a physical. I have noticed that early appointments are best because appointment times tend to be missed and wait times increase in the afternoon.

Very effiecent in medications I am on,explains thoroghly,follows up.always friendly.Highly reccomend.

I had to see him for a post-retirement part-time job physical. He was primarily focused on a my taking a prescription sleep-aid occasionally and showing off for his young female student or PA. He barely examined me but lectured in front of several office staff members about taking this sleep med occasionally. It was never a problem during the time I worked all shifts in a dangerous job but now he makes a big deal of it for a part-time indoor retirement job.

A co-worker and I had to have our DOT exam. My appointment was 1/2 hour before my co-workers. I was taken back first, put in a room, and told to put a gown on. I waited over an hour, in a gown by the way, before the phys came in to see me while my co-worker was done and gone. The highlight of this fiasco was when this Dr wanted to call my family dr to discuss an urgent matter regarding one of my Rx's ive been on 2+ yrs. He refused to pass me. 12 years and always passed until this yahoo.
