I highly recommend Dr Alksne for treatment for Trigiminal Neuralgia. Anyone with Trigiminal Neuralgia knows the excruciatingly pain that accompanies this issue. I recently had Gamma Knife surgery performed by Dr Alksne and his team at UCSD in La Jolla. After 5 days, I am experiencing no pain. The Gamma Knife which is a non invasive procedure, was relatively painless I am back playing tennis along with all my regular daily activities I am so thankful to Dr Alksne for giving me back my life Audrey Mae. Dr. Alksne has cared for me since I was 19 years old. My hydrocephalus condition has presented him with many challenges. Recently, he treated my occipital neuralgia. He is one of the most professional, caring physicians I have ever met. Me and my family are so grateful for him and his expertise.
