We brought my 8 year old son to Dr. Tzinberg in November 2019 as our dentist (who is also an orthodontist) wanted to start getting to work on his teeth (as they will eventually need work). I wanted a second opinion and was recommended to Dr. Tzinberg by a friend. We brought him in and he said that he would prefer to wait, rather than do a 2-phase early intervention approach (what our dentist wanted). This was music to our ears as I am old school and had braces 1x and want to pay for braces 1x! He said to come back in a year. Well, since then my son has become self-conscious about his smile, so I called the office a few weeks ago to make another appointment. This was today. I got in a few minutes early and he called us right back. We were the only ones in his office, so felt very clean and safe (amidst COVID). He looked again at Parker's teeth and took notes based on our last visit and the few teeth he has lost since that visit (only 2). He stood by his original sentiment and still wants us to wait. He knows my son has a lot of growing to do and a lot of teeth to lose. Part of me thought, because of COVID, he might want to move things up to help his business financially, but no. He truly wants to do what is right for my son and his teeth and for that I could not be more grateful! Also, both times we have gone in he has been super personable (we talked about college football our first visit and he told us a great story about Fernando Tatis Sr. this visit). Great place for adult braces! Tzinberg is very patient, sweet, and gives you his full attention. He's always on time if not early and his work has an amazing reputation. Audrey who runs reception is very kind and helpful. They have both been really great which was really important to me because I don't like sales pitches. I like how down-to-earth they are and I don't mind driving to a different city to receive the best work in SD County! Great place for adult braces! Amazing! He did such a great job with my teeth! They are 100% straight and perfect. He is great at seeing the tiniest of details! Tge office is very clean, peaceful, professionial and friendly. Amazing. The entire office is amazing. Polite, friendly, accommodating.......everything you want in a medical office. Something that is becoming a rarity in our world. Dr. Tzinberg has given us the best-possible experience with braces for our pre-teen over the past 2 and 1/2 years. His more conservative, let-mother-nature-help-us, approach is appreciated and relieving. Dr. T's patience and conviction to doing things right the first time is why our son will only be wearing braces once in his life, which is a different route than so many other orthodontists provide. The braces just came off recently, in the time-frame Dr. Tzinberg anticipated, and the teeth and bite look incredible! Additionally, Dr. Tzinberg's personality, and the warmth of his office staff, leave us with zero regrets! I have been going to Joel Tzinberg DDS office for the last several years and all my three daughters have beautiful teeth and smiles. We also received help finding an oral surgeon when they needed to get there wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Tzinberg and his staff are very friendly too.

I am very pleased by the services offered by Joel Tzinberg and staff. They worked with me to fix one tooth that was bothering me and not in alignment with the rest of my teeth. I really did not want to go the invisalign route as that is pretty pricey. Dr. Tzinberg worked with me and catered to my situation. After a month, my tooth has moved into place and I am so pleased with the results! I would make my appointments during my lunch hour and I would make it from my work downtown to La Mesa and back in an hour. They are so quick and efficient. I never had to wait a minute and was always in and out so fast! I cannot recommend this office enough. Dr.Tzinberg and his staff are wonderful! He is a great orthodontist! My daughter's teeth are beautiful. I highly recommend him! Honest and a master in his craft. This a unique office that I was so happy I brought my daughter for her braces.

We drive in from Serra Mesa even though there are several orthodontists close to us. It is worth it. Dr. Tzinberg provides a friendly, professional front office and outstanding orthodontic care. He has great rapport with his patients, and we can always get an appointment that works with our schedule. Dr. Tzinberg seems to take a personal interest in helping patients with their orthodontic needs quickly and with the least discomfort. He knows the latest techniques and explains the process clearly. My experience with adult braces was a breeze, our oldest son is finishing up his teen braces, and our youngest son will start soon. We would not consider going to anyone else.
