Dr. Jodi M Kornak

I've seen Dr. Kornak several times. Dr. Kornak is thorough, explains everything in detail and in terms that I understand.

She is absolutely awful my son 2 when we saw her. He has had many ear infections since he was born more than enough to qualify for tubes. She looks at his ears for two seconds and says they look fine and don’t suggest tubes but can do them even though she doesn’t see a reason for them. Then looked at his tonsils and said she wouldn’t even do tubes until his tonsils were removed because he couldn’t be put under. She then told us to record him sleeping to hear snoring and come back. Well it took me two months to get this appointment. Then she said since he is so close to 3 he’ll grow out of the ear infections but hear we are again seeing a doctor with his 3rd infection since he turned 3 in December. I was a patient of the Drs. for about 5 years. I saw her for allergies & some fluid in my ears. Dr. Kornak prescribed 2 nasal sprays which solved my problems. In Dec. 2019 I went for my annual office visit which was needed for my Rx renewal. At the Dec. visit Dr. Kornak took it upon herself without discussing the matter with me to place a scope up my nose. This scope turned out to be a procedure that cost me $792. As my Dr. she had a responsibility to discuss doing any procedures with me prior to conducting them. There was no reason to preform the procedure since my medical condition never changed & the nasal sprays do the trick. My office visit took less than 10 minutes that day & put me in a financial bind. I had no idea a procedure was performed on me until I received the bill. The Drs. Office was rude when I contacted them concerning my bill. Unfortunately Dr. Kornak & her staff believe their patients are giving them a blank check when they come in for a visit.

Dr. Kornak was extremely rude throughout the visit. She googled my symptoms and said they were not ENT related. The following week I was diagnosed by an ENT and am still being treated for my issue, which is indeed ENT related. I believe her reviews on the official website are handpicked because there are no bad reviews, and I know that I am not the only person who had a bad experience with her.
