Joan Rueter Carapucci

The lady who answers the phone to schedule appointments has an uncalled for bad attitude. She was absolutely rude for no reason and placed me on hold for 20 minutes, I hung up and called back 5 minutes later and they ended up being closed. The fact that this person can work at a psychiatric place and have such a horrible attitude to people who are trying to help themselves is so gross. I hope whatever this lady is going through she can over come.

I have been a patient of Joan Carapucci for 2 years. The communication between her office and I has been unreasonably inconsistent and her cancellations of appointments without notice has been commonplace. Troublingly, the quality of care i have been receiving had dropped drastically more after her diagnosing me with Borderline Personality Disorder. I personally think she’s unprofessional and biased, falling into the negative stigma surrounding BPD.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carapucci for over a year and she is one of the worst medical providers I have ever had. It takes months to schedule an appointment with her as her front desk does not pick up the phone and the Dr. frequently takes week long vacations. If you are willing to wait months to get an appointment and hours for her to join the meeting just to get your prescription filled she is your woman, if you want a doctor that cares, you should keep looking.

For almost two years now I've had video doctor's appointments with Joan Carapucci. I just found out that this whole time she has had students watching and listening in on my conversations with her without telling me. She got caught by accident. She handed something to one of them and told her were to put it. When I got upset she started to lie her way out of it. One of the reasons this is a big deal to me is that i know people from that school and so does my ex-wife, who is still a part of my life. I'm friends with the manager of the ESL lab there. I would never have approved of this. I feel i was used as a guinea pig for a bunch of local community college kids that could just as easily be my neighbor also. I was so upset. I tried get my refills and Joan called and had them cancelled. These were refills that had already been prescribed on the last online appointment. She actually cut off my medication out of spite after I told her I was going to report her for allowing students to watch and listen to my appointments without my consent. I called my insurance company to report her for this and they called the pharmacy and reinstated all my prescriptions. They agreed this is not something that should have been done to me. I believe what she is doing is illegal. I am going to talk to a lawyer about this. JOAN CARAPUCCI PA IS BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE "NEVADA STATE BOARD OF MEDICAL EXAMINERS" AND THE MY INSURANCE COMPANY.

I have had over the phone and online visits with her and both are very enjoyable. She is thorough, has a great memory, with a happy and enjoyable personality. I have no plans on changing and I've been with her for 2 years, since the COVID-19 disaster started actually

I really enjoy Joans way of helping me. I hope to be with her for a long time. I've only have video appointments, but I fell we already have gained trust in the last 9 months. I want to thank her for helping me work through my issues.

She was very understanding and explained everything. She calmed me down right away. Makes you feel very comfortable!
