Dr Kim is a perfectionist. She is the best prosthodontist/dentist I have ever been to. The hygienist is also excellent. I use Dr Kim for all my dental needs and would not hesitate to refer her.

Great dentist!

Dr. Jiyoung Kim is perhaps the finest dentist that I have ever been to in my life. She is kind, considerate, so knowledgable, and it will be the best experience that you can ever have in a dental chair. Without hesitation, if you want top notch dental care, go now, and go often, and you will never go to anyone else. She is the best. Wonderful staff, too, and the office is clean as a whistle. You will have happy teeth, and you will know you are in the right house.

Most professional dentist I’ve ever had with a top notch team. Suffered through some sub par dentist since moving to San Diego but have great dentist now!!

I had my teeth cleaned, which they charged me $135.00 for. The hygienist said that she wanted Dr. Kim to come in and look at a tooth. She came in, looked, and said she wants to replace the filling for $528.00. I was then charged an additional $90.00 for a “limited consult” that lasted about 60 seconds. If the hygienist would have told me that I would be charged $90.00 for the dentist to enter the room, I would have said “no”. $135.00 is already too much to pay for a cleaning. I feel extremely ripped off and will be looking for a different dentist.

Absolutely wonderful service! I went in for a teeth cleaning, and haven't stop smiling since! My teeth were pretty dirty (verge of having tooth decay), but I walked out with seemingly a new set of teeth. Furthermore, I've been inspired to floss everyday and brush thoroughly. Thanks to Dr Kim and her team, I have a beautiful, very natural smile for the first time In 50 years. A bridge that was made for me at age 21 was less than attractive, and I spent many years self conscious about it. I never made my smile a priority until I realized that a nice smile would make me feel younger, as the years started taking a toll on my face. I am so glad that I chose Dr Kim to make that happen!! I recently had several teeth updated with crowns and veneers after finishing my ortho treatment elsewhere. Dr. Kim and her team created my treatment plan methodically and with care. I have a new smile and am very satisfied with the results. Dr. Kim is our family dentist and I would recommend her highly.

Dr Kim is very conscientious, thoughtful and gentle, she does a great job, I have been going to her for years!

Dr Kim is a caring and exceptionally gifted prosthodontist. I went in with a badly broken front tooth that was impossible to mend. I had been referred to her by my excellent dentist who felt that I needed special treatment for this problem. She explained the situation to me very well and was able to make me a bridge that improved my bite so much and gave me a beautiful smile. I had had a bad underbite before so she improved my teeth esthetically as well as correcting my problem, all the time in her caring and intelligent manner. For years I had been biting on my two front teeth, which had worn down dangerously thin. After exploring different options, she put crowns on them and adjusted my bite so that I no longer hit them. Dr Kim is an extremely competent prothodontist. She is caring , patient and explains everything very well. Her work is meticulous and extremely well done. I thoroughly recommend her to anyone with problems needing quite difficult treatment. I broke a front tooth and she did a wonderful job making me a bridge and improving my underbite , giving me a lovely new smile.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kim's for 10 years after being referred to her by a specialist. I trust her implicitly and am confident in her care. She is professional, kind, knowledgeable, and completely patient-centered. The entire staff does everything possible to assist patients. I do not make recommendations lightly but have no reservations in recommending Dr. Kim.

My father recommended I see Dr Kim to create a new dental prosthetic for me after my implants failed. I am so glad he did, her work is meticulous and she cares! Her staff is friendly and I am grateful!

TECHNICALLY GIFTED. WONDERFUL ASTHETICALLY

Dr. Kim is very proficient and professional whether for fillings or crowns.

I am so grateful to have found THE BEST dentist of my lifetime! I have spent my life in a dental chair due to a birth defect which resulted in no enamel tops on either my baby teeth or my permanent teeth. As a result, caring for my teeth is a challenge. Dr. Kim not only provides excellent dental care, but pain-free, kind and caring treatment. She is constantly monitoring the patient's comfort while performing her procedures. I trust her ability to enable me to keep my teeth for as long as I live. She did an excellent implant for my brother, who was born without one of his eye teeth, and brilliantly replaced my bridge with almost nothing to attach it to. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. I wish I could convey how much I appreciates the care she and her staff provide!!! I am so grateful to have found THE BEST dentist of my lifetime! Dr Kim is exceptional. I have been a patient of Dr. Kim's since she began her practice here in Encinitas well over a decade ago. Her work is impeccable. She is careful, meticulous and patient. I trust her skill, talent and her experience. I grind my teeth a lot and I have presented her with challenges that she has always been able to meet. She has often arranged her time to fit me in when I have had minor emergencies so that I didn't have to wait. I know that she cares about me and that she cares about her work and I always feel very secure knowing that she is in charge.
