Jiping Wang

Dr. Wang is an incredible surgeon! His confidence with the robotic procedure made me feel like I was in the right place to treat my GIST tumor. There are videos of him using the equipment and the entire team is extremely professional yet empathetic to my needs and worries. I was walking hours after the procedure and released days ahead. He visited me quite a few times during the recovery and I am happy to share this with anyone looking to work with Dr. Wang.

Dr. Wang successfully did a liver resection on my husband that other doctors said could not be done. The surgery was estimated to take 4 hours but actually took 7 and he was able to remove all of the cancer. He is simply amazing and also very easy to talk to. I can't recommend him enough!

Dr Jiping Wang performed a very complicated pancreatic cancer surgery on me (distal pancreatectomy, splenectomy, and left adrenalectomy). He was able to remove the tumor completely while another surgeon I consulted said he would not do the surgery. Dr Wang is a natural-born surgeon and he saved my life. Dr Wang is an extremely warm and caring person who was truly concerned about me throughout my recovery after the surgery. Dr Jiping Wang performed a very complicated pancreatic cancer surgery on me (distal pancreatectomy, splenectomy, and left adrenalectomy). He was able to remove the tumor completely while another surgeon I consulted said he would not do the surgery. Dr Wang is a natural-born surgeon and he saved my life. Dr Wang was my surgeon over a year ago at Brigham & Woman's. He performed a resection of a GIST tumor that was located on my stomach. I have absolute confidence in Dr Wang's abilities. His communication is excellent and my surgery was successful. What more could you ask for? His office staff at the time (I think perhaps they were new and still in training) could have been a bit more informative, but hopefully that's been ironed out a bit. Phenomenal surgeon. I feel that I was very lucky to have him perform my Whipple surgery. He is a brilliant man. He performs very complicated surgeries (more complex than the Whipple), yet he is kind, compassionate and humble. I am amazed at his talent. I am recovering exceptionally well from my surgery, and I believe it's because I had a wonderful surgeon. I called his office on a Sunday, and he immediately called me back to answer a question I had. I'm so impressed with him.

Dr. Wang performed my total gastrectomy and I cannot speak highly enough of him. He is an amazing surgeon and is very thorough and caring. He checked in on me following my surgery several times while I was in the hospital recovering and was always quick to return my calls when I had any concerns. I was amazed at how involved he was with my case, before, during and after treatments. Also, Victoria in his office is very very helpful in scheduling appointments, returning calls, etc.

It has been almost two years since Dr Wang performed surgery to remove my stomach. If you need gastro surgery he is the surgeon to choose. He is the best of the best, highly skilled, thorough, yet down to earth, kind and compassionate. I am very, very grateful that he did my surgery.

Dr. Wang performed surgery to remove my stomach, spleen and part of liver due to gastric cancer. He is an A-1 surgeon with both excellent surgical and communication skills. I would highly recommend receiving surgical treatment for gastric cancer with Dr. Wang. He took the time to thoroughly explain what he would be doing and to answer all our questions and was with me all the way through my hospital stay and follow up. This man oozes goodness. He is the consummate professional. I would trust him with my life. Actually I did trust him with my life, and I am grateful that I made that choice.
