Dr. Ji H Han

Dr. Han has been treating me for a few years. Initially, it was for excruciating pain in both knees. His injections were able to alleviate the pain until it became necessary to have total knee replacements. Dr. Han is now treating me for severe stenosis of the lumbar region with excellent results. I highly recommend Dr.Han. His is a very courteous and professional practice.

Good : Place looks very nice and clean. They have a parking lot in the rear that I saw from the waiting area in the lobby. Its not stated or shown if its for patients or employees only. I guess I’ll have to ask if I go back. The Secretaries were very nice and well spoken. It felt very welcoming and all smiles. NOW THE DOCTOR: He seemed to be going through patients like Tic Tacs. He was jumping from patient to patient. We were asked 2x if he had attended us. After he came into the room, he was polite and welcoming. When it came to communication in regards to pain management he was knowledgeable and straight forward. He didn’t take into consideration the pain that my partner has been in for the past 19 years. He could of WORDED things differently and taken into account that we came to a pain management center. We didn’t walk into a retail store to ask for information on a product. I felt that his overall demeanor changed when 1 of the solutions offered didn’t really help my partner . We stated it was done before and only lasted 2 days. He only mentioned 3 solutions and said thats it for you. The other 2 solutions were offered and no information/ brochures were given. The interaction felt like something you could of done via zoom call or internet search. It was an overall underwhelming interaction. After the consultation the secretary was very nice, and professional. My overall take/ feeling was that it felt as a 1 time money grab situation. I unfortunately didn’t get the 4/5 star reviews this place holds on google. Hopefully others have a better situation. Update: DR. did read this review and did reach out. He does care about his practice so communicating with me does put a positive spin to the situation. We addressed the concerns I had stated. Hopefully this helps the practice grow and flourish.

Dr Ji Han is an Excellent Doctor. All I can say is that I was very happy I went to him. I was very afraid before the procedure. I have full confidence in him.

I have been seeing Dr. Han since I was in a car accident and got t-boned by someone who didn’t stop at a stop sign. The accident was in September of 2018. My first visit to him was January of 2019 and I’ve never looked back or searched for another doctor since seeing him! He’s extremely skilled and knowledgeable about what he does. He always explains everything in detail before any procedure he is going to do. He saved me from needing multiple surgeries on my back which I was terrified about doing to begin with! He has done Medial Branch Nerve Blocks, Radio-frequency Ablations and Epidurals on my lumbar spine, thoracic spine, my neck and is currently working on eliminating the excruciating pain in my shoulder from that accident. His appointment times can sometimes be about 2-3 weeks out, but it is worth the wait when you’re seeing such an amazing Doctor!! Also, he runs the place by himself so you’ll always be under his care and not switched around between doctors! Book that appt.!!!

I have a back issue due to a fall. L1 through T4 is a mess and I have arthritis in both knees. Dr. Han and his marvelous staff have been treating me for years. I highly recommend them. You won't be sorry that you went. You might have to wait a while but the wait will be worth your while. Dr. Han himself is extremely knowledgable, ethical, and skilled. He does things by the book and will always lookout for the best interests of his patients. I truly wish I was better with names so I can give a shout out to everyone.

I have been really struggling to find the right Dr. to help me with my lower back problem during pandemic. Had been to 2 other doctors before and had just about given hope. That all ended the day I met Dr.Han and his staffs! Office was very busy and waits but understandable especially after Covid-19. From my first initial consultation , I knew that I was in good hands and that I was finally going to get the help I needed. Dr. Han is not only took time to listen to me, he also explained to me what was happening in my low back and what the next steps would be in correcting the problem. I never felt brushed off. They even followed up with me over the weekend to see how I was progressing. Dr.Han is hands down the best doctor in the NYC area!

I started seeing Dr Han about two years ago, after a just few treatments the difference in pain reduced so greatly that I started weeding off my painkillers. I wanted to write this review for Dr Han and his staff. They are excellent and very attentive to your needs. They are an excellent team providing the very best care for me. He has helped me to reduce my pain. I can enjoy the simple things again, like holding my grandchildren. Before having the shots I was very nervous, but Dr. Han explained the procedure which put me at ease. I had terrible pain in my neck and upper back. I was gaining weight and getting out of shape very quickly. After doing the shot I could get back to exercising and I was able to lose my extra weight quickly.

Dr.Han is a thoroughly amazing doctor, with an amazing staff. When someone strives to give you your life back, there is no GREATER GIFT! I would never hesitate in recommending Dr. Han to anyone who would benefit from his incredible expertise. He is direct, while not being overbearing, patient, understanding and very concerned for his patients. This type of doctor does not grow on trees!!! Dr. Han is helping me get back to the lifestyle I love and am used to...THANK YOU so much Dr. Han and staff.

I came to be treated by Dr. Han after horrific car accident that changed my life forever.The collision left me with constant excruciating pain. I could not sit or stand for more than 10 minutes.I am 28 years old and I had to resign to the idea that I will be a cripple for the rest of my life.Dr. Han and his people gave me hope and resolve, and after 3rd procedure I was able to go out with my girlfriend and actually dance. Dance! I am still not the guy I was before the accident, and probably never will be, but the empathy, courtesy and simple human touch that Dr. Han showed while treating me, gave me a resolve to fight on and make the best of my life. To give this man 1 star actually bothers me. I went to him as recommended for severe back pain. He is an arrogant, narcissist who actually said "I am the best pain specialist around"! This after scheduling me for procedure, where no one introduced themselves, checked to see if I was the 'RIGHT PT. FOR THE RIGHT PROCEDURE', made me feel like a was a piece of the furniture instead of a person. They actually asked me to lie on a blood stained sheet! Worst sterile technique I have ever seen. I am still contemplating whether or not to complain to DOH regarding the horrific treatment I received. Would not recommend him to my worse enemy (if I had one) - he should have his license revoked.

Dr Han is amazing. He takes the time to discuss your concerns and he's well informed and professional. Trusting someone to put a needle in my spine was scary, but he was fabulous and I am no longer in that much pain! I am going for my second needle soon and I can hardly wait. I know my life will be back to normal. Thank you Dr Han.

Back in June of 2016 I got into an accident where i got rear-ended. i was left with several herniation and pain. Dr. Han was empathetic and understood my pains. I've gotten several procedures from this office. He was VERY straight forward about the procedure and how it should or it might not help. He never BS'ed the good and the bad; however, helped me make the most educated decision. I never felt forced to do anything i did not want to do. Thank you Dr. Han for all your help!

I arrived at Dr. Hans offices in the fall of 2016 with a serious spinal cord injury. Thanks to Dr. Han and his professional staff I am feeling much stronger and on the road to recovery. Dr. Han and the team at New York spine care have even helped me reduce my need for addictive pain killers. Recovering from a serious injury is never easy but thanks to the help of Dr. Han and his team at New York spine care I don't feel like I'm fighting this battle alone.

Only a patient for about six months and literally got my neck from severe pain to acceptable he is a true professional and does care about his patients a great in my experience I will recommend Dr Han to all my family and friends. His staff is also wonderful

I have been a patient of Dr. Han for over 2 years and have found that the Doctor and his staff were highly accommodating and receptive to all of my needs. 2 years ago I suddenly started having nerve pain from my cervical neck that shot down my arm causing excruciating pain. Dr Han not only was the first (out of 3 other Doctors) to recognize the cause, but effectively and aggressively treated it. There were many nights where I would call his service and was called back from him. The office staff

Great dr I highly recommending him to anyone. My mom had severe knee pain because of arthritis and meniscus tear, she tried everything but after she saw dr Han she can't stop dancing. I like him, he is super kind and friendly

Treated by Dr. Han 3 times which did nothing for my pain. Each injection was followed by a consultation (with another co-pay each time). Twice a physician asst who asked me how I felt and tapped my arms/knees and was told to make another appt for an injection. After the third consult Dr. Han said he didn't see the medication move around the discs in my back which he probably saw from the first injection. Then recd bill for 185.19 for uncovered Oxycodone, expect 2 more since had 3 injections.
