Jessica Rivers Allen

Got a nexus letter from her. Said if I got denied that she would write a rebuttal letter. Still waiting on her to contact me, it has been 11 months and still waiting

Dr. Allen is the best psychiatrist in Durham, heck she's the best psychiatrist in Raleigh, in the whole Triangle...My original psychiatrist was not listening to my needs and just kept increasing my medications and adding new ones. Dr. Allen actually listened to my concerns, and helped me get over the medications. I take just one medication now and do therapy with her. I feel 15 years younger. She is very nice and patient but most importantly she's smart. She explained everything to me (now I know what neurotransmitters are, lol). You won't go wrong with her.

She took time to understand the depth of my experiences and symptoms before making medication recommendations. She actually listened to me.
