I went to this doctor based off my insurance provider list. He was easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable about my thumb issue. He has a strong New York vibe, which may be why some don’t mesh with him, but I found him caring and empathetic. He was careful with the numbing spray, and did a quick pretty painless injection. I appreciated that he had me lay down which was comfortable. He requested I come back in a month for a check in which was also appreciated since the doctors I’ve seen in the past just sent me on my way.

Terrible! I tore my MCL and a friend recommended this guy. I told him this is the third time I've torn my MCL surfing and one of the very first things he says is "sounds like you need to stop surfing". Wait, what!?!? Your a "sports medicine" doctor and you're telling me to quite my sport!?!? He then told me I have body dysmorphia when I asked how soon I can exercise. When I went back for my MRI review, it was clear he didn't even look at the MRI, and the very first time he even looked at the MRI report (two page report written by the radiologist) was right there in front of me for a whopping 2 minutes. The guy is a quake who's clearly close to retirement and just doesn't care. Go find a real doctor Instead of this clown. Terrible! I tore my MCL and a friend recommended this guy. He misdiagnosed my herniated disc problems and spinal stenosis... and he is extremely rude and uncaring...

This place is ridiculous and caused me so much damage. They did not give the correct treatment plan at all and nobody in this building knows where they are doing. Caused me additional months of recovery because of his “treatment plan” he never even pulled up my MRI results because the computer wasn’t working so he was GUESSING. PLEASE read the reviews before trusting them with medical treatments and go get a second opinion. This place is ridiculous and caused me so much damage. I see things haven't changed, surprised this MD is still around, making $ off misdiagnosing & causing more pain. He was always rude. He made me KNEEL for an XRay of a torn ligament & other tests caused more injury to my damaged knee & permanent. I was too young/naive to persue. Sorry! Sorry he somehow made a name for himself, somehow still around & sounds like doing the SOS to others; he was always full of BS, selfish rude arrogant & WORSE - ignorant! I am suffering of extreme pain on my back, neck and shoulders. I was just at Dr. Friedland's office. OMG .... He is the most unkind, impolite, rude , unprofessional Dr. I have ever seen in my life. I don't know how he got his medical license. He needs to go and apply a job to clean street. He didn't even examined me..... Just stay away from his office. I got an immediate appointment with Dr Friedland and he helped me a great deal with my sciatica. He took excellent care of me and expedited appointments for a same day MRI and an epidural block 2 days later. I was basically pain free within 3 days of seeing him.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Friedland. His kind demeanor, caring and competence made me trust his ability and gave me much confidence. He truely cared about my injury as was evidenced by his phone call to check up on me a day after my appointment. His staff was friendly and competent. I've been to Dr Friedland a few times over the years and have sent friends there and I've never heard or had a bad experience.
