Dr Denning and team has done another excellent job in fixing the lumbar and removing the bone spurs and removing the pain from all the pinched nerves. Excellent. Highly recommended.

Great doctor, very kind, compassionate and spends as much time as needed to insure you have all your questions answered.

I am a healthcare provider turned patient with severe low back & hip pain after 30 years of caring for patients. After research and a referral from a friend, I chose Dr Jeremy Denning to consult with about my pain issues. I live 60 miles north of his office and my whole experience from the first consultation to the last was worth every mile I drove. My situation warranted surgery. Dr Denning, both Sandra's on his team and Tonya were all very compassionate, NEVER rushed me in explaining procedures or answering questions, and handled all the correspondence with my insurance and short & long term disability through my employer. The front office team was always very friendly and welcoming. Most importantly I have NO PAIN & feel like I have my life back....no more coming home from work & sitting on a heating pad every evening & weekend. My quality of life has greatly improved!! If I have any future needs, I will DEFINITELY consult again with Dr Denning, and I won't hesitate to refer anyone!

I am a board certified plastic surgeon who’s practiced in La Jolla, California for over 30 years. I developed an acute lumbar disc herniation about one month ago that was severely incapacitating. The pain was excruciating even following epidural steroid injection and other conservative treatment options. It was impossible to walk normally, and I found myself confined to bedrest and the cancellation of my busy surgery schedule. I sought out the top spine surgeons in my area. A close colleague of mine suggested I consult with Dr. Jeremy Denning. He reviewed my MRI scan during our virtual consult and suggested a minimally invasive microscopic endoscopic disc procedure which he’d perfected. This procedure preserves much of the surrounding spine structures to maintain function and support. No one else had even mentioned this method to me. I immediately flew out to Dr. Denning in a wheel chair and underwent surgery with him at Methodist Hospital. I awoke in the recovery area pain free! I was able to walk normally again and have not needed any pain medication. Besides his obvious remarkable surgical talent, Dr. Denning is the consummate gentleman surgeon - compassionate, humble, and kind. In addition, he has surrounded himself with an all star team both in the hospital and his clinic. If you are considering spine surgery then you owe it to yourself to meet with Dr. Denning wherever you live. As a surgeon, I realize each case is unique. I was referred to Dr. Denning by a friend who'd had a terrific experience with him. Dr. Denning's knowledge and evident competency immediately put me at ease (and helped me forget meetings with three previous back doctors at other practices). He recommended a surgery that ended up providing immediate results that eliminated my pain and has helped restore my quality of life. It's been nothing short of a miracle.

If I could give a zero I could. I echo the previous review of lack of concern or empathy. If it’s not a cookie cutter text book condition he may be fine but if it takes an effort to think outside the box and give at least some suggestions that don’t make me think he’s talking to an idiot no interest at all in helping me! This was my 2nd fusion and I was looking for the right doctor for the job. As an nurse for many years I started talking to my fellow nurses and physicians about who they would let do a major back surgery on them or their family. Dr Denning's name kept coming up, so I started the process of getting a consult through my family physician. I'm glad I did, skilled physician with a great office staff. Review long overdue. I went to see Dr. Denning for lower back pain which ended up requiring fusion surgery (L5-S1). Went to Dr. Denning for 2nd opinion. Initial visit was very calming and relaxing, took the time to explain everything and go over all options. He also was able to see me within a few short days of calling. He ended up performing the "scary" surgery and couldn't have asked for a better outcome from him or his team. A wonderful experience and very successful outcome almost 1 year removed from the procedure. Can't give him and his team more praise!

Dr Denning is an amazing Dr and Surgeon. My husband had a triple fusion on his lower back 6 weeks ago and he’s doing really well. Lower back much more stable and pain diminished incredibly. Very skilled. No complications. Staff very nice. Follow up visit great and thorough.

I can’t say enough about the entire experience of working with this office and this surgeon. Pros from start to finish. They made miracles happen in the scheduling, execution and recovery from my surgery. Any conditions that cause you to consider “neurosurgery” should make you very serious about getting the best professional help. This is what Dr Denning offers.

Like most people contemplating spine surgery, I was very reluctant to take the next step. I visited with several top surgeons in the area, but my wife and I felt best with Dr. Denning. He not only is one of the best in the region, his manner is calm and assuring, helping us to understand that he did these surgeries often. I wish we would have known about him earlier! Completely changed my life after the surgery. We recommend him enthusiastically. His team is phenomenal.

Life changing Dr. Dr. Denning was amazing, detailed, patient, and overall the best Dr. by far I have ever visited. 3 failed surgeries by a previous surgeon Dr. Denning had no issue with taking my case and after complete review had a plan. Executed his plan. Now pain free after years on misery. What a blessing! Thank You!!

Still after two surgeries after Dr. Denning, I am in extreme pain. I attempted to schedule another appointment, but I was told the first appointment was two months away. When I told the person scheduling I was an existing patient and still having pain, she still told me it would be two months. This was my clue that he didn’t want to deal with my problem anymore. I called another Doctor in town, got in that week, and told him my issues. He said my issues were due to the failure of Dr. Denning to perform the surgery correctly. I guess Denning not wanting to see me was a blessing. Not telling where I would be now. Because my bones have begun to heal, corrective action is necessary. This Dr. told me he has had to correct several of Dr. Denning’s mistakes in other patients. Dr. Denning is a nice man, but appears be to lazy and non interested in working with the patient to identify the issue and create a plan to correct it. He is not assertive in identifying the source of the issue and making recommendations to correct it. If something goes wrong, he just washes his hands of it. I should have known something was wrong after my first surgery when he never even came by to see me after the procedure, and I left with instructions. If you need a neurosurgeon, I highly suggest you look elsewhere. I have nothing personal against Dr. Denning as a person, but as a neurosurgeon I wish I could go back and redo my first two surgeries with someone else. Second and third may may not have necessary, and now a fourth. They all stemmed from what I was told by two other neurosurgeons, poor performance of the first surgery due to just being lazy. Dr Jeremy Denning helped me turn my life back in the right direction. I had suffered with pain for years but really began to deal with debilitating pain in 2017. Dr Denning performed an ALIF and Posterior lumbar Fusion on me on Dec. 11th 2019. I am happy to say that I am back to work full time as of last week and on my way to a full recovery. Thank you Dr. Denning to you and your staff for the professional and compassionate care you gave me and continue to give me. Your communication and the ease of communication with your office staff has been nothing less than amazing. Dr Denning took great care of me. I have dealt with back pain for many years but in 2017 things changed and it began to affect my life in a very negative way. Dr Denning was open and honest with me and gave me real answers. He was supportive and compassionate during my entire surgery and recovery. Dr Denning performed an ALIF and Posterior Lumbar Fusion on Dec. 11th 2019. I am back to work full time and I am on my way to a full recovery. I am so thank for the ease of communication with him and his office staff. To ya and Morgan have we’re there for me post surgery to encourage me and I can say enough good about them. Top-notch neurosurgical practice! Dr. Denning and team ( Sandra Tanya and Morgan) were amazing. They're caring and warmth in addition to their impeccable professionalism exceeded my expectations. The entire process from initial consultation to post surgery follow up was flawless. My cervical and shoulder pain had negatively impacted my life even with the assistance of multiple medications and injections. Thanks to the expertise of Dr. Denning's neuro-surgical skills my neck and shoulder are now pain free. Dr. Denning is very approachable and shows a genuine concern for his patients. I had several vertebrae in a row with severe spinal stenosis. Because he specializes in minimally invasive surgery my main recovery is taking a few weeks rather than several months. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr Denning from Brownwood TX for neck surgery, this being my second one I was real cautious but felt great with our first visit and we moved forward! Arriving at the hospital I was greeted and treated awesome the check in nurse ask me who my doctor was and I told him,,,, he goes ohhhhh you came for the best and I am like awesome! After surgery I wake and return to my room ,,, with small throat irritation which is normal with neck surgery the nurses made sure i had chloro septic spay and anything else I might have needed!! A few hours later I was up drinking coffee harassing everyone, joking and being silly!! Easy easy, I say easy cause my previous neck surgery I was not up moving around and joking with everyone I was hurting(which Dr. Denning did not do first surgery) and I mean I was down for a while after!! I had the best experience a person could have considering what my body just went through and I give credit to dr. Dennings skill, I definitely recomend!!!

Dr Denning is amazing. My wife and I have both had spinal surgery performed by Dr. Denning...... BOTH with excellent results. Can’t say enough about how good he is. He explains everything very well, and makes you feel like you are in good hands. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing spinal surgery.

I can't say enough about this doctor. From the diplomacy he used when he realized the enormity of this surgery, he calmed me. Then the surgery itself, what can you say? 11 weeks ago, 4 new disc's on the front, 8 rods in the back, and I'm sitting in Starbucks, drinking a latte, in awe of what he did. I'm not even at the 3 month mark and I'm so much better it's simply amazing.

Dr Denning is a phenomenal physician who took excellent care of me and gave me my life back. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a compassionate doctor who cares about his patients. His office staff is top notch!

At age 68 I had a lot of ware and tear and pain in my lower back. Doctor Denning did a great job explaining what needed to be done step by step. So in December I had an L4,L5 fusion by Dr. Denning and his staff. Two nights in the hospital and 8 weeks later, I'm good to go! He is such an understanding and calming person.

My wife fell and fractured one of her vertebrae. No surgery was necessary, but Dr. Denning guided her through a conservative rehab involving wearing a back brace, while he monitored her healing via x-ray. She is out of the brace now, the x-ray shows the bone is healing, and we no longer have to see him. While my wife (luckily) did not need his surgical skills, our conversations with him gave us confidence that if surgery was ever needed, we would have confidence in him as a surgeon. He's a nice guy, too.

I was told by a top ortho in the area that there was nothing that could be done for me and surgery was not an option. My lumbar spine had collapsed and my whole spine had shifted to the right. Dr. Denning knew immediately what needed to be done. He had total confidence, which gave me confidence and peace going into surgery. It was a huge surgery, through the back and front, but my results are life changing and I cannot be more thankful for Dr. Denning. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Bad outcome from major back surgery. Dr Denning cut out two of my ribs causing complete instability in my spine and I have suffered more pain ever since the surgery. Approximately one month after he perform the surgery I informed him that his surgery was a complete swing and a mess. His only response was to perform more surgeries and other areas of my neck. Other top surgeons have informed me the surgery performed by Dr. Denning was a completely unnecessary surgery with a very low success rate. Also, I recently learned Dr. Denning and his group reported me to the credit reporting bureaus stating that I owe him over $2000. Do not have any surgery performed By Dr. Denning unless you receive at least three opinions from other surgeons. Bad outcome from major back surgery. I have had many lumbar surgeries and this man fixed my fusion, even though other neuros wouldn't touch me at age 75. Two years later, I had a new disc failure, and he extended the fusion. I recovered easily in both surgeries, and had a new lease on life. He has no fear and a soft touch.

Absolutely wonderful Doctor.

I had a fusion (L4/L5) in August of 2017. Dr. Denning and his team were phenomenal from admin, PA to surgery and post op. I am 5 months post op, minus muscle spasms, I am 100% pain free for the first time in 3 years. A family friend who worked with Dr. Denning did recommend him to me and spoke highly of his attention to detail and surgical abilities - and she did not lie. I am forever grateful.

My husband had major back issues. We saw three neurosurgeons, and other specialists. He was at the point of going to pain management. He suggested we see Dr. Denning. We thought, okay, just another dr. We were able to get in the very next day to see him. He immediately knew that he could help my husband. At this point, he was going to be bed ridden or wheelchair bound, so we trusted him. Five years later, my husband is walking without pain. We can't say enough good about Dr. Denning.

Met with Dr Denning today. Very patient, knowledgeable, took the time to explain his opinion. I would echo the same reaction for his PA. Very glad i was able to see him.

She took the time to explain how her office worked and allayed my fears about procedures. I greatly appreciate her approach to a patient and her kindness to me. Dr Denning explained my back situation to my wife and I and how he would manage my case. He has an excellent office staff.

Intelligence, knowledge, and skill combined with excellent personality - friendly, caring, and a good listener. Top of the list in all categories!
