I have been seeing Dr Service for many years now. I have found her to be very talented and knowledgable. She has been kind and compassionate. I supplement my time with Dr Service with counseling with a reliable Psycologist where I can see more often and has more time to work with me intensively. The balance has been life changing!

Dr Service is a wonderful provider. I’ve had difficulty with many prior psychiatrists but she has me at a stable balance with less medications than previous providers.

Are you looking for a doctor who will be against you and not help you? Go to Dr. Service. She will admit straight out she hasn't helped you but will charge you and take your money. Absolutely worthless and a waste of time. She will question your sense of truth and purpose for coming. The only person you should be questioning for truth is her! She is a drug pusher that is about it. How she is still practicing is beyond me. Watch out for conflict of interest, if you need her, have low expectations, you can do better with another psychiatrist. She needs help herself.

I have been seeing Dr. Service since I moved back to Minnesota 4 years ago. I've been dealing with mental illness for 30 years. Over the years I have seen several psychiatrists do to moving many times. She is the most caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor of psychiatry that has ever treated me. I am finally on the correct combination of medications that work for particular type of mental illness! Wish I would of known about her when I lived in Minnesota for 20 of the years that I have been treated for mental illness. Thank you Dr. Service for helping me live a better quality of life! She has helped me get on the right medications. The visits are quick and listens to my concerns and adjusts as needed.

Abusive judgemental and threatening to my wife who was having a panic attack. Despite my wife's medical history documenting her issues she was dismissive and accused her of drug seaking. She also yelled at her because she had the nerve to bring our children to the appointment that was scheduled by Allina after they had screwed up the appointment 4 times. I met them at the hospital to get the kids having to leave work. She went as far as to call the campus security ass my wife was balling in the chair begging for her to stop scolded her. It was so bad we left Shakopee and drove to Burnsville to go to the ER who immediately recognized my wife was in distress and treated her appropriately. Afterwards we were told we were not going to be billed. Dure enough a bill showed up and Allina Health refused to do anything. Allina Health is the worst provider service I have ever experienced and I deal with the V.A. We will never use Allina or any of the Dr that they employ or contract. Dr. Service is very thorough. She really is great doctor and she does have a wonderful bedside manner. She treats complicated cases brilliantly.

She was dismissive, arrogant and without empathy. The first appt, all of 20 minutes,after waiting many weeks to see her,was take this medicine one pill in the morning and one pill in the evening and after one week take two pills in the morning and two pills in the evening. She then gets up and as she is walking out of the room she states "make a appt. with me in 4 wKs." I thought twice about making this appt. but did. Second appt. was even worst than the 1st,within10 minutes she doubled the med

Very knowledgeable and I have great trust in her decisions regarding my care. I have referred many friends and family members and have heard nothing but positive things. HIGHLY recommend

Sometimes good, she made questionable decisions and didn't understand when I was concerned. 1st, she changed my anti-anxiety medication after 7-8 years of usage for something less effective, despite me being recently hospitalized for depression. She also failed to clearly explain why. 2nd, she noticed a conflict (8 months after it started) between my long-time depression med and a new pain med. She said to pick one, and was apathetic when i had significant withdrawal symptoms while weaning.
