Dr. Jennifer Lynn Hopp

I saw Dr. Hopp for a long time. She respects your opinion for so long. But when she thinks she is right she becomes overly controlling!

Dr. Hop has been a very good doctor and has worked with me over the 15 years that I have seen her. However, now she has become very controlling. She is overly insistent that I have the battery in my VNS replaced. It has never done any good. I am now in a Medicare Advantage plan and must pay 100% of the costs at Univ Md or nearly 1,000 at an IN network doctor. She is no longer paying the out of network fees that I pay to see her!

Dr. Hopp is way too arrogant for making mistake after mistake. Find another neurologist for your own health and safety. She misdiagnosed me. She didn't do proper testing. She once wrote me the wrong prescription. When I told her of the bad side effects I was having on a new medication she doubted me telling me only 7% of people experienced those.. She never mentioned surgery to me. Then I get a new neurologist who immediately suggests surgery, I get the surgery and never have a seizure again
